I can’t believe they went through all the trouble of creating a new website, then alienating a great majority of the members by not allowing spaces in the user name. As of right now most of us can’t use it unless we create a new account.

Until then I’ll be on IRV2!

My Profile shows my current email address not the one I signed up with 17 years ago. I don't know how it was updated to current but it doesn't matter if I can't login.

For me, the email space was blank and it asked me what email to send it to.

Admin, While it doesn't effect me, not allowing users with a space in their name is an absolute FAIL!

I honestly don't see myself using the new forum much. It reminds me of when they would hire some pubescent new whiz kid MBA at work and he had so little experience that they'd be more than useless, they'd just drag the company down. Seems like they had someone design the new forum who has no experience with bulletin boards at all.

Looks like we all lost our "Senior" status too. After nearly 20 years, I'm an "explorer" - what ever that is.

Bummer about the user name thing if you have a space in it.. I was able to get on the new site after resetting password.

Trying to navigate the new site and seems like it's all there from rv.net, but very different interface for sure.

Still getting used to it. I guess the old "new posts" is what is called "trending" now..

I'll give it a shot, but wonder if any new posts to here end up there too? I guess I'll find that out after this post. [emoticon]

I followed all steps and when I reset password here is the message I got.

To all of my friends I know and friends I don't on RVNET. I'm not being snarky at all and truly hope you all find a way over to the new forums. With that said, I am a motor head, tool jockey, non ASE certified mechanic who washes and waxes cars for a living. I am completely computer illiterate! My version of gaming is solitaire. I got right on the new forum and I see many others have too. How is it that many self claimed computer people can not do this? I surfed the site last night and it's great. No truck camper forum that I've found yet but otherwise it's all good. Please try again. good luck...

I did manage to sign onto the new forum. New password seems to require capital letter, small letters, numbers, and a symbol - forum doesn't tell you that until after you try to create a password.

It did seem to save my previous posts from this forum.

I think this was asked already, but is there an "Active" button similar to what this forum has? I wanted to ask this question on the new forum, but I couldn't find a place to ask. It is just really convenient to get an overall look at what is being posted across all the different boards.

I guess I am still on the old site so no need to change if every one else is to.

YC 1 here. I too cannot login on the new forum. Tried resetting the password to no avail. I did NOT add an additional character but was not asked to when resetting it. At least I don't think so.
