I see a major exodus from Cali to Mexico City to avoid the lockdowns. Wish they could track the people. Near me they are jabbing people, but it's not a 24/7 operation. Monday through Friday,8 to 5. Supply is limited.

Yeah México. Where there are beds in the hallways, but no staff and no 02. Whether these geniuses know it or not COVID19 started out as a rather minor fever down here and now we're seeing really sick kids and young people
If risking 104°F is worth going maskless, then a full blown no insurance hospital bill should impose negative feedback.

I do not try to confront maskless people while I'm the USA. I flee. In Zihuatanejo it was 32 steep steps to board a 727.

Just a little longer I hope until jabbing begins

Fleeing Lockdown, Americans Are Flocking to Mexico City

Yesterday in the state of Nuevo Leon (Monterrey) there was a complete lockdown. No local shops or tienditas, convenience stores, all closed. Only pharmacies and gas stations were open. It's getting worse here by the day.

Mexico City has better days but it goes up and down. On good days they publish the number, on bad days they don't. Today 20% of hospital beds are available. Last week it was zero.

At the current rate of vaccine purchase and vaccination, it will take 25 years to vaccinate every Mexican. It's not for lack of money, Mexico has $200 MMD (USD) in cash reserves. Makes you wonder it we are waiting for herd immunity to kick in to save cash.

Herd ammunity works with some viruses but with covid, the herds will be wiped out. After the hospitals get overwhelmed people will drop like flies from covid and non covid conditions. Mexico or any other nation with half a brain will protect their hospitals.

This is a little hyperbolic. Herd immunity does work to stop an epidemic or pandemic. In this day and age, herd immunity is usually achieved via vaccination not through massive infection.

Herd immunity does not imply eradication of a disease, just that the incidence is sporadic enough that it is not an epidemic or pandemic.

This disease is not invariably fatal, but does present serious medical issues for a significant percentage of those infected. The threat to the health care system and the standard of care we expect is a serious issue.

That was basically my point. Vaccines are the answer not mass voluntary infection.
Invariably means not everyone will die as apposed to human extinction but the death rate is massive and unacceptable.

Ok, time to get back to documentation. If you want to post numbers of victims, number ill, etc... use legitimate sources. This is too serious to deal with hear-say. Thank you.

on edit: Per 100 population: Israel's vaccination level as of 3rd January (2 days ago) was 14.14 of their entire population (total population: 9.2 million). They are in 1st place for Covid vaccinations. Israel has a centralized medical care system, and are using Army medics to deploy vaccinations on a huge scale. In second place, is Bahrain at 3.62 of population vaccinated.

Tied for 3rd place is the UK and USA, at 1.39/1.38

Mexico is in 16th place at a tiny fraction of 100 (0.02). Canada is in 8th place, at 0.31 of population vaccinated.

The US deployed into arm, 4.25 million doses as of midnight last night. Canada, 117,768 single doses total as midnight. Mexico, 24,998 doses in arm.....as of December 30th

Selectable multi-table, map and chart data here-->

UKIAH CALIFORNIA A small town

The vaccine refrigerator was full and it broke down. Something had to be done so medical professionals called the local radio station.

In 4 hours 835 people were vaccinated. According to witnesses they cherry picked seniors first.

You can come to your own personal conclusion. I came to mine and it has nothing to do with politics.
