DH and I are also sick - we think we have it, but can't get tested. It's been about a week and a half since we started feeling sick. DH has it very light and I have it in the mild zone. I keep worrying that it will all of the sudden get worse with us.
Our county in PA supposedly has only 7 cases - I guess those are the ones that had to go to the hospital.
It's going in waves with me - sometimes I'm so fatigued I can hardly move and other times I'm full of energy (till I'm fatigued again). The weirdest thing with me is I feel best in the evening - each evening I think this is it - I'm getting better. Never had that before with any other cold or flu - evening is usually when I think I'm going to die.
We must have picked it up in the grocery store as that is the only place we've been (we're retired). And we're pretty sure we got it from the air as we have been super careful about keeping our hands away from our faces and washing them a ton. At the time of the store visit (3/11) there were supposedly zero cases in our county.

So sorry to hear of your illness. The fear of not knowing and what might be ahead is probably as big an issue as feeling sick. We really do need testing available, not just the PCR test for the virus, but the antibody test to see who has recovered and can safely go back to work.
One ancedotal report I've heard from several doctors dealing with this is that people seem to feel sick for a week then crash, if they are going to get serious. Hopefully you are past the week time frame and that is a real finding.

In another report, the mean time from illness onset to hospital admission with pneumonia was 9 days. Like I said, I think MANY, MANY more people have it than is being reported simply because testing is sporadic and a lot of people have mild symptoms.
I hope your symptoms remain mild and I think they probably will. They say the symptoms peak (get their worst) 5-7 days after they first start showing up. Then you gradually get better over the next 7-10 days. That's exactly what's happening with my wife. At this point we think the virus is gone. She's now recovering from the pneumonia that was brought on by the virus. She's coughing much less and can breathe well again. She's still very fatigued.
We think we've narrowed down the source to her place of employment. Only she and one other person have it and she shares an office with that person. They went out sick 3/11 - about 4 days before she started feeling sick. At that time there were very few cases in NJ and people weren't self-isolating. This is how it spreads - people don't know they have it.

My 5 gallon Home Depot bucket gets a workout. Nothing extraneous passes my threshold without getting dunked. Clutching fistfuls of coinage I dunk it
Linen banknotes will dry within an hour.

Use the 5 meter distance rule and be mean about it if you have to. Covid19 in aerosol form hangs persistently in the air. What I have read from the government has zero provenance absolutely devoid of testing. 5 meters.
My homemade masks arrive today. Then they get treated with silver and wait for shopping.
Next week I go north to San Diego COSTCO and WAL MART for a bomb shelter's worth of food. 2 weeks later I am going to know yes or no whether my opinions have merit. I will use a credit card and ride an electric scooter.

That would be me - thank you. I don't suspect we're infected - my wife's test came back positive. We are infected.
Most of her symptoms are gone now but she's exhausted. I'm now worried about her sleeping most of the past 24 hours. I'm hoping it's just because she needs the rest to fully recover. Only time will tell.

First, I want to send anyone who is ill well wishes. Second, I actually have some GOOD news on this front. I posted in another area that my son's girlfriend's grandfather in NY had passed away from the virus (thank you to those who offered condolences). He was in his mid-80s and in decent health. Went to the hospital on a Tuesday with symptoms, they sent him home, he was admitted again on Thursday and died from double-lung pneumonia literally on the way down the hall to be put on a ventilator. Tests revealed (posthumous) that he had COVID. The Sunday after he passed her grandmother was admitted with similar symptoms and not expected to make it. At the beginning it did not look good-she's also in her mid-80s, frail and a cancer survivor. About mid-week last week she started to turn the corner and was due to be discharged sometime over the weekend. Tests revealed she did NOT have COVID. This, to me, begs the question did the grandfather truly have it or was it misdiagnosed? It's just hard to believe that one would have it and one wouldn't, considering how contagious it is and they had similar symptoms. Or, did they miss the diagnosis with the grandmother?
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be Douglas Adams
RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.
