Right, that's why NHTSA has opened an investigation, and the FTC may follow suit over Tesla's marketing of driver assistance, autopilot or whatever it's supposed to be. There's obviously an issue besides the loose nut behind the wheel.

I drive a Toyota with less sophisticated features like lane keeping assistance and collision avoidance. Hasn't aimed me at another vehicle yet.

I bet you don't sit in the back seat when driving like some idiots in Teslas ?

There is nothing wrong with Tesla cars but some drivers don't belong behind the wheel of any vehicle.

Dunno, but Tesla really needs to work on their vehicles' affinity for hitting police cars. Happened again on I-4 Saturday morning around 5am. The trooper was stopped (lights on) assisting a disabled vehicle. The driver admitted the vehicle was on "autopilot".

Quote:

Gigafactory Texas on 25 August 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Decided to try and get an early morning look inside while it was dark outside but lit inside ... worked out fairly well! We see a lot of furniture, equipment, interior finishing’s and more on the General Assembly structure 2nd and 3rd floors, and many interior walls and sectioned areas on the battery cell structure 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. We also see into the loading docks at what appears to be battery material handling platforms and a lot more equipment as well.

The west side of the General Assembly structure parking lots, loading docks, and charging systems seem to be cordoned off and possibly being prepared for permanent employee training and other activities related to initial pre-production activities inside.
