I just read a review about the hidden cost of ownership on a Model Y and the chief complaint seemed to be the cost of keeping tires under it. There is a basic rule of vehicles ownership that applies here: Going fast, or more specifically high G forces, leads to high tire costs. And it applies to all vehicles.
