This pic is from behind the right front tire, pointing across the coach towards the drivers side.
As you can see, the green lines indicate the steel framing.
The yellow arrow, is the outside of the board, that a couple of pictures ago, had the hammer pulling it toward the inside of the coach.
So, only the coach portion of the motor home had any insulation, the entire front section had none. Couple that with a large windshield, 2 side windows, and you have a recipe for having trouble heating and cooling this sucker. Lol...
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

Ya know, I've been kicking around a lot of different ideas about the rebuild, and I have come to one conclusion. If we're going to do it - let's do something different. Not the same old run of the mill rv looking interior.
So........ Haven't fully finalized too much yet. I have to take some measurements, and will have to design from there.....
Stay tuned....

Went to the big box store today, and bought a couple of things in preparation for the beginnings of rebuilding.

Sooooo, we can add another $17.77 for a grand total = $505.54 + $17.77 = $523.31.

Pulled the generator out yesterday, and removed the framework that was holding it in place, bolted to the frame, today.
The yellow circles show the position of the bolts, which went directly through the coach frame. (the 1.5" x 1.5" floor framing).
The green lines indicate where the slide extensions were fastened. There was one on each side, I only highlighted one side.
Basically, these were overgrown drawer slides, designed to hold a few hundred pounds.

Also pulled the gray tank out today. The black tank was removed a few weeks ago, I just didn't take a picture of it.
Here is the gray tank. The yellow circle, indicates where the vent went into the tank.
The green circle, shows where the gray water entered the tank, both from the shower, and the kitchen sink.
The red circle, is the drain line, which hooks up to the dump valve. Yes, it has it's own shut off valve, just for the gray water.
This is a 30 gallon tank, and it fit between the frame rails at the rear of the coach.

Here is the inside shot before I removed it. The green circle is for the water from sink and shower.
The yellow circle is the vent.

Once the plywood was removed, we have this .........
The yellow area is where the gray tank was, just underneath the aluminum sheeting, and the tank was outside.
Looking at the red circle, is the back side of the fuel fill.
The red arrow is pointing to the fill pipe/hose for the gas tank.

Soooooo, while we are talking about gas fill tubes......
This is for everyone who used to own, currently owns, or will own in the future - a Chevy P30 chassis, with a motor home built on it.
Does it take forever........ to fill your gas tank? You have 1/2 a tank, and it will still take 15 to 30 minutes to fill it up? This one's for you.....
Here is the path the gas takes, when filling.
The red line, is the fill line which is about 1.5" in diameter.
The yellow line, is the breather tube line for your tank, while you are filling. It is about 5/8" in diameter, and no, you should not use heater hose to replace it, if it needs replaced.

And we continue our trek towards paydirt - so to speak. Lol....
You will notice in this pic, that the breather tube has a dip in it. It did not, until I removed the generator, and the surrounding plywood.
It was screwed into the plywood that surrounded the genny, so when that was removed, the hose drooped.
