When you use the por15 use gloves and cover your arms it is real hard to get off of skin.

I had an employee that I instructed to paint something with the POR-15 product in silver color. I explained you HAVE to cover your arms, hands and face when using this product. I left him to do the job. He said he got hot so removed the long sleeved shirt and gloves. I came back to what looked like the Tin Man in the Wizard of OZ, he said he thought it would just wipe off, he looked like that for almost a week!! Please cover yourself when using that product.
Keep up the great work, love your photos and discription of work being done.

I take it, it was being sprayed?

Very nice so far. From your hints, I'm getting real interested in what the new floor plan will look like. Very good work!

Lovin this fulltimin! Thanks for taking the time to post updates as much as you do, on top of all the work your doing. Quite interesting. I would never do it, so it's fun to see the progress.

Here is a picture of the generator cover. This was between the genny and the inside of the coach.

The factory used galvanized steel, with fiberglass insulation on the generator side, to cut the noise transmission into the coach.

This steel was covered by 1/2" plywood on the side of the box that faced the inside of the coach. Based on how this looked, it was time to replace the insulation.

Then again, what to expect after 34 years?

While I was at it today, I decided to look under the front passenger's seat, to look at how that was constructed.

In this pic you can see the steel framing, 1.5" x 1.5", indicated by the green lines. The rest of the pic, is the aluminum sheeting, which is installed on top of, instead of below, the framing.

What that means is, we have steel framing, aluminum sheeting, and 1/2" plywood on top of that. Yup, no insulation under the seats up front. No wonder, heat and cold come through the floor there.
