The day before Christmas, and all through the park
no rv's were moving, and the dog wouldn't bark
no room for a clothes tree, to hang our hat
it doesn't matter, we're inside, and all using chat
I looked out the window, and what did I see
a tiny chihuahua, taking a pee
she kicked up the dirt, after giving a poop
then looked at her owner, who was waiting to scoop
The dog strutted off, with the owner in tow
looking for a place, for the poop to throw
ah, yes, there's a dumpster, not far in sight
if she can just get there, while it's still daylight
She opened the lid and what did she see
garbage from others, some poop, but no pee
she gave the bag a heave, up over the side
knowing there was room, for this bag to hide
Closing the lid, which contains the stink
now it's time to go, and wash hands in the sink
she opened the door, to her rv
took 3 steps up, then disappeared from me
I looked all around, this rv park
awnings were out, lights on in the dark
the lights were all lit, in tiny rv shapes
a few of them hung, with nothing but tape
The dump station is empty, nobody dumping their cr@p
one late arrival, in the overflow spot
out comes the awning, down go the jacks
make sure the rig's level, and cooking's a snap
Earlier in the day, I parked in this spot
it's not real big, but it's MY land yacht
the neighbors are friendly, a few are not
we'll just call the ranger, he can empty that spot
Tomorrow is Christmas, and all through the park
people getting ready, and watching Hallmark
the solar panels did their job, the batteries are full
'course I can use electric, instead of the wool
Some people head north, some people head south
some are in the middle, we're filling our mouth
good food, good friends, and the family's all here
soon we'll be ringing in, another new year
So for now this must end, we wish you the best
but wherever you are, should be your nest
here's to one and all, with one final blink
we wish you the best, hoping your poop doesn't stink
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

Thank you very much. Hope I am not getting boring, too technical, or not technical enough. Lol...
Every now and then, I think it's a good thing to throw in a little humor.

Here's a unique space saving idea for a table.
You will notice that the table surface is covered up when the table is lowered into the floor.
Once the table is lifted up, the "floor" portion is now unfolded and will be on the bottom, so the worktable surface is clean.

These next two pics are a water saving idea.
These are in use in a home environment which uses a tank type toilet. By using the waste water from the sink in the bathroom, the toilet will flush with sink water instead of water from the fresh tank.
If the waste water runs low, the tank can be filled from a fresh water fill.
Granted, rv's do not use these tank type toilets, but, that doesn't mean that a small extra water storage tank cannot be added to save the sink water, and use that for an rv toilet.
That would save fresh water, which would allow one to boondock longer, on the same amount of water.
Just a little extra plumbing would allow this to work.
Even using a large drain pipe for the sink, could store enough water to flush the toilet a few times.

Here's the second pic, which would need some mods in order to make this work, but the principal is pretty much the same.

Remember what I said about thinking outside the box?
Anytime you can get dual use from something, it is a good thing, use less space, and can save your limited resources.

So, I decided to finally remove the one and only cabinet still left in the motor home.
That's right, it's the one up front, over top of the pilot and copilot's seats.
I probably should have taken it down earlier, but somehow it just didn't happen. So, here we go removing this thing.
This is a pic, that is obviously from a while back.

Here's a shot from inside looking to the right from the left side, over top of the pilot's seat.
As you can see, there is paneling on the "floor" of the cabinet.
