You will notice in this pic, that the "hole" that is used to access the compartment has some trim that is stapled in place.

Here's the trim from the front side.

As you can see, I already started pulling the paneling off of the front.

There is a framework that was built and stapled together, and then the paneling was glued to the front side. Just as the rest of the rig was glued together, so was this, and it was for extra strength.

The inside "floor" was being pulled out (red arrow), and the framework underneath is shown here.

More glue and staples. The bottom side is also glued to the "framework".

You can see the steering wheel in the lower left corner.

Shacklaw, if you're still following, how's your project going?

So, here's another shot of the trim of the front cabinet. Once the trim is removed, (red arrow), then the frame above (yellow arrow), has a few screws which need to be removed, so the frame can come off.

The screws are hidden under the trim, and are screwed up into the white fiberglass.

This piece of trim, is the brown ugly looking stuff, which helps hold up the front of the plywood, of the framework and box we just removed.

This piece also runs from one side to the other, unlike the bottom, which is in 2 pieces.

This is the white fiberglass, which is at the "top" of the cabinet we just took down.

There are screws at the back, (red arrows), and I thought, also at the front. (red circle).

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that these didn't look like screws.

Turns out, this is what was there.

Yup, there were nuts there. So, I thought, Fleetwood fiberglassed some bolts in there so they could screw this fast.
