Yeah, btggraphix, not too bad a place to stay near the big city of Denver. Just wish I'd had more time to enjoy the park. Wouldn't want to be there if there was a lot of rain in the mountains though as it looks like the park encompasses the flood storage area above a dry dam on Bear Creek. Good to see a photo from your wanderings now and then.

GTA - yep, the oversized dam (along with a number of others like Chatfield were built shortly after a giant flood on the Platte River back in the 60s or so. But it would take a while to fill I am sure!
