Well with no rig in the back for 3 weeks now, I knew there should not be anyone walking around on our property. I was sitting at my chair yesterday looked up and there was 2 men about 50 yards down the lane. I stepped out to see what they wanted and they took off through the shrubs and cacttii. Well I called the Border Patrol and they brought dogs and walked the ranch. The dogs picked up the sent immediately and followed to where they climbed over the fence and went north toward Cotulla. Made a couple new friends with the border patrol and his dog.

GGS furnishes you a portable septic system with a lift station, so no pump out required. Timekeepers used to be, either you paid when you wanted pumped, or if it was in the contract, then every 14-21 days....One of the reasons we moved on.

Quite the opposite, only a very few are not allowed to have a weapon. Don is on a site that has no restriction. That is what keeps folks honest, NOT knowing which can and which can not....[emoticon]

Well I guess our vacation is about over.....3 weeks with only 1 or 2 people going through our gate a day. We were told today that a new rig should be coming in any day now. Hope we can handle the rush again......we almost forget what it was like. When they were building the road we would fill about 3 pages of the log sheets. Lately only 1 page with 1 or 2 entries.

Don't worry we have a shotgun and I know how to use it for the best effect.

Loma also supplies us with the portable septic tank and lift pump; so far, in a month we've filled it about 1/3 full, so we'll call when its near the top. There is also a 200 gal overflow tank in case we wait too long to call for a pump-out[emoticon]

I'm in need of a little info. My son is interested in possibly getting into the oil field catering business. Can anyone provide me any info as to companies that provide food catering to any of the south TX rigs? I've found two or three online, but they seem to be more into offshore catering. Thanks in advance.

Texas OutPost and Big House Burgers are the two catering companies that our rig uses. Texas OutPost is the best.
