Even though I've torn down my carb a few times now, it's nice to have a video to refer to before doing it, just to re familiarize yourself with the necessary steps. Thank Jim for the links.

Hey guys...like most of you, I've torn my carb down and cleaned it a couple of times. I just did it again today, did all the same things I always do and I'm still having a problem with it...it runs fine at half choke and revs up and down at no choke. See this video.

Anything else you'd suggest?

You still have some garbage in the carb jets.

MAN!
They were full of junk too...I used my micro drill set to clean out all the holes in the jets then sprayed them with carb cleaner, then blew high pressure air through them just as I always do...I'll repeat steps...haha.
Thanks Wayne!

Wonder how all that ended up in your jets?
Usually we find that there is just a small, small piece of******in there....
You should have seen lots of******in the float bowl if you were observing a "full of junk too" thing!
You did remove the emulsion jet? That is the normal culprit.

Well, I just repeated the process and it worked perfectly! I'm all good. Jim, when I say junk I'm referring to the chalky tarnish residue. Nothing really abnormal.

Good for you, finding that and removing it!
Yep some of us have found that... Lot's of that in Wayne's (Reddog1) jet.... several times. Almost corroded enough on the end of the emulsion jet that you could not get it out..
Many discussions led us to believe it may have been the salt air of the coast... He ran his gen a lot while being in the San Francisco bay.... Daily for several hours.
He and I have installed an inline filter to help in the filtering...
We have observed lots of moisture bubbles in the clear tubing loop we installed to replace the fuel line and insert a filter in the path... Hate this E10 crap...

Have you seen the write up Jim or I posted on the modified fuel system to include the filter? I think Jim posted it.
As a by-the-by, I added a tubing allowing me to give my Honda a snort of starting fluid. I have found it to beneficial if I have not started my Honda for a few weeks and it is cold outside.
