I read awhile and then took a nap... I have the cabover closed up like a cave... the tempertures have been dropping to the low 30's at night.

I still have the filters out of the Air conditioner... both monitoring and making sure the area dries out.

With out the camera flash you can see what I mean by cave. Wayne of Reddog1 fame shared his window insulation trick with me years ago... by using the the foil faced bubble wrap windsheild sunvisors covering the windows... held in place by the day/night shades. Even though we have storm windows... the shades make a bigger difference.

There were ballfields near the area we were parked... pee wee football practice started befor we left.

We just enjoyed the square miles of grass and sky.

We would have stayed right where we were for the night... I don't think anyone would have noticed... but we needed water. The water at the park had been turned off and the restrooms closed for the winter.

We went back to our old standby... Walmart. Luckily for us they had a service station... I had a hose... This bay was perfect: fuel on one side, water on the other. Not far from overnight accomodations either.

Of course you can always ignore the cars and trucks...

When we pull the blinds the inside of the camper is home... no matter where we are.
