Check this out when I was down there at the plant they where doing repairs but the was a lot of Toy Haulers sitting there I don't know if they where there for repair they where not new. I had asked about a Repair on my roof they said pull it up we will look at it give you a estimate and we can have you in and out in a few hrs. I was told with cash you can get it done quick. $115.00 per hr labor rate..

My sources have told me that as of yesterday at 4pm the Sheriff's went in and locked down WW. As of Monday, they will be completely shut down. They owe the bank a ton of money and have pretty much liquidated everything they can. I hope all of you that have your trailers there will be able to get them out. Maybe they will re-open in the future under someone else's name but for now, they are no longer.

WOW! I knew this would probably happen! just did not think it would be until the end of the year. I hope that those dealers out there with current inventory of WW's cannot sell those units! I have been reading the postings of people who purchased units within the last month or so with no idea of WW being in trouble. I have not had any BIG issues or problems with mine so far since purchasing it new back in 2005. Looks like I'll be holding onto it until the wheels fall off! ha ha. It's sad that it got to this point! Overall WW puts out a nice looking Toy Hauler - it's to bad that could not get the workmanship and the quality control under control sooner. This would have no doubt saved them from the end results. [emoticon]

Well whats interesting is when you call them now it does NOT go to their normal phone system when you can put in the extension you want to go to. All calls just go right to the receptionist and all you can do it leave her a message. All he message says is her name and that she is the receptionsist and says leave a message. SO I guess its true OOOoo I am so glad I got my trailer back last week.

Has anyone else heard or seen anything that would confirm that WW has in fact been closed by the sheriffs dept! and that the Perris, California facility is now closed?. I hope that the dealers carrying WW will be forced to tell potential NEW owners about WW being closed or out of business for now! and/or ordered by the courts to stop selling their units until things are resolved.

UPDATE Weekend Warrior "Out of Busines" [emoticon]

Just spoke to someone out at WW in Perris, California (951) 940-5556 . I did not get her name, however when I asked about bringing our trailer in for service on warranty! she informed me that the following are no longer in business! and that they to (front office) were closing the doors for good.

> Service - Closed [emoticon]
> Warranty - Closed [emoticon]
> Parts - Closed [emoticon]
> Repairs - Closed [emoticon]

I guess this would make it official! or unofficial that Weekend Warrior is no longer in business! [emoticon]

Interesting Response from Dealership: Giant RV -

I called several Giant RV locations to inquire about purchasing a Weekend Warrior - I was told that had many to choose from and to come on down. I tried to get a price of a 26 and 28' unit - and I was given the MSRP - One was Mid 30's the other was 44. I asked about the Manufacturers warranty - NO PROBLEM I was told, best in the business. If I knew WW then I would not have to ask this I was told by the person on the phone. Upon that response - I informed the salesman what I had heard this morning from talking to someone at WW. He was unaware and was going to have someone call me back.

So - I got a call from the sales manager who informed me that WW has closed to reorganize - and that they would be reopening in a few months. We I pushed him on this and what I had been told! he than said that their dealership would be offering warranty to cover the new tt'S with a $25 co-pay. That they would be dealing on the price -

How can they sale a unit - and not tell the potential new buyer that WW is no more! and this be legal! Does not seem right!
