I would be interested in speaking with any other people that have purchased a 2008 FTL 4005 in the last year. I simply want to compare notes, and or issues that have developed.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I only read thru about half of this thread but I am curious if anyone else is having the same problem we are. We have a 2005 FS30 weekend warrior and all of our window and door seals are failing. They seem to be oozing out from all sides. I have talked to a lot of different people who own warriors and every other type of coach and they do not seem to be having the same problem. Before I call weekend warrior I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. From everybody I have talked to other than the manufacturer they seem to think it will Not be a warranty item. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

FSWarrior did your windows always look like this or did they just start oozing? I have had 3 Weekend Warriors & the last 2 have looked similar to yours. That is a quality control issue & shouldn't be a problem other than looking ugly. I could be wrong, anyone else have some input?

Hey FSWarrior - I scaled down your images so they wouldn't cause the page to scroll from side to side.

You may want to start a new conversation topic with your questions to get more exposure to your specific problem. This thread deals with a narrower set of problems.

Best of luck,
Dave

Thanks Dave, They started oozing after I had the coach for about 1 year. I have actually cleaned it off in a few pleces and it keeps oozing. There are a few places where I could see that there wasent enough sealent left in the windows to provide a good seal so I added some silicone. The only real fix I can think of is to pull off all of the windows and doors and reseal them. If it is not a warrenty item Weekend Warrior will charge an arm and a leg for it.

Mine has always done that. I just scrape it off with a plastic scraper or credit card. If there is limited sealant left I would do as you suggested and add some silicone.

As to the Warrior Service problem I finally called the factory to see if I could get someone to look at the front end of my trailer. About a year ago, I had some work done because the frame was flexing and had cracked around the pinbox. They took apart the front of the trailer, cut out the cross bar infront of the pinbox, and welded in a larger one to eleminate the flexing. Everything appeared fixed until recently. I noticed that the seam covers along all the side edges where the walls meet the front cap sheet, have pulled away and appear to be flexing some.

Anyway, the guy I spoke to at the factory told me they no longer perform service there, but I may have a special situation since it could be related to a repair they performed. Anyway, I need to take pictures and e-mail them to this guy so they can make a random determination as to what if anything they will do about it.

Hey George - Can you clarify this? The factory doesn't fix trailers anymore? Was this the main Perris factory? Where are they sending people for repairs now?

Ya I'd like know if they stopped servicing as well. Last I heard they were just shutting down to do some improvements. We need to take ours back in as well.

Our trailer caulking is doing the same. 07 WW SL2805 delivered Oct. 06. Man I would really like to know what brand of caulk they use, then ask them why they keep using it. I don't get why it needs to that.

If you need to get something done as far as service I would not take my time. There top three officers have resigned and they have layed off over 150 workers it does not look good.
