Anyway, the guy I spoke to at the factory told me they no longer perform service there, but I may have a special situation since it could be related to a repair they performed.

Hey George - Can you clarify this? The factory doesn't fix trailers anymore? Was this the main Perris factory? Where are they sending people for repairs now?

After they shut down the Upland facility, I figured they just moved it all back out to Perris. They stated that they do not do service at the Perris facility anymore, but I don't know if that includes warranty work. I was not able to glean much more than what I posted.

I kinda got the feeling that everyone under warranty needed to take their stuff to a local service facility and call for authorization. Since I am out of warranty, I figured I am on my own except for what has been done in the past structurally around my pin box. The person I spoke with seemed receptive to following up on any after effects of the prior repair.

I know they are fuzzy but it doesnt take 20 20 vision to see what is going on here.
The photos show a bend in the fs2500 superlite frame right at the rear wheels alowing the frame to "drop" to the rear. The picture of the floor with the flashlight shows the interior wheel well cover and the gap below it and the floor sheating drooping down.
What a mess...
The first photo is from the rear shackle forward showing the significance of the bend in the frame. The second one show the "creese" in the bottom flange.

What i did not take a picture of was that the welds of every cross member running from one side to the other are seperated allowing huge flex everywhere it shouldn't. The upper cabinet where the TV is located has drooped the rear. and the axle has slammed into the frame right at the bend.

The dealer is shipping it to socal and off their hands.

I am a little nervous about a fix for this. I dont belive they can ever get this back to "normal". And do i want to accept a FIX for this. Everything in this trailer has "moved" due to the flex in the frame.

The last photo is taken from top of frame down after my wheel sheered off the lugs and past me on the freeway... rear axle tracking at an angle now.
HELP!

I feel your pain. I took my FS2500 in because the roof was sagging and for the stabilizer fix. I recieved a call to tell me that my frame was twisted bowed and buckled, The welds were broke, The shackels are bent. They sent me pictures but I am not sure how to post them. They told me there was another FS2500 there also with damage like mine and worse. They had also brought theres in for the roof sagging and the stabalizer fix.
We are in Michigan so WW instructed the dealership to send it to a frame shop. This trailer has been nothing but problems since we bought it. 30 miles down the road from the dealership and about 1 hour of owning the thing the TV cabinet fell apart. And it goes on from there.

Power, I have been happy with the "everyday" warranty fixes but this one makes me nervous. Virtually the whole right rear side of my trailer has sagged about 1-1/2". The easy thing for WW to say was "we are going to basically give you a new middle portion of your frame" WHAT! does that fix the tv cabinet that has sagged with the rear of the trailer? does that fix the OSB floor decking that has split apart? does that fix the rear door that wont close unless you jam it in? What about the cosmetic damage made by the tire flying off after the frame rubbed on the tire and busted the lugs on the wheel drum?

How do you "jack" up the trailer and get it to sit level again after the aluminum, windows, roof, studs in the wall have all "flexed" where it shouldn't? And replace the frame?

I guess i leave it up to them huh?

I took it to the dealership... they contacted WW and explained to them that they can not fix this. WW is picking it up at the dealership this week and taking it back to their shop in SoCal.

I am fearing the worst on this...

Is yours in the shop right now?

Mine is at the dealership waiting for WW to give the dealership the final OK.
Souds like we have had a lot of the same problems with the decking, TV cabinet and back door. Except I have not had the wheel come off and cause damage.
After I talked to the service girl at the dealership she assured me the frame shop was very maticulous and they would do whatever was needed to the frame to make sure it was done right.
They replaced the floor decking, the door will be adjusted. Supposedly everything will be readjusted and reinforced so it is back to new condition.
I trust the dealership alot more than WW at this point. But I am very nervous also about this thing. I regret ever buying this.
We have not had any problems with normal warranty things. Everything has been taken care of so far. Other than our Awning has bowed probably due to the frame but they blamed me for the awning and wouldnt cover it. I will keep you posted on the progress. Also let us know how yours turns out.

We'll be anxious to hear how your repairs go. We have an '07 Weekend Warrior. Back at the factory in need of major repairs. Warranty stuff. Have been assured that it can all be fixed. We have our doubts, but hope for the best.

We have a 2005 FS30 and have not had to many MAJOR PROBLEMS[emoticon] with ours yet. However reading all of this and talking to friends who WW trailers - I am not confident that WW we stand behind their product[emoticon]

We purchased ours back in Jan of 2005 and it spent a total of 164 days in for service and repairs out of the first year and half that we owned it. In addition we had purchased the extended warranty that gives us an additional 4 years of coverage! bringing the total to 6 years. However, In calling the Perris, Calif facility last year about all the news on the frames! I spoke to the service manager and was informed then! that the extended warranty was not covered or honored through them! it was through another company! a surprise to us from what we were told by GIANT RV in Irvine.

Although we do not have any major issues with ours at this time! we have only used it 15 times since we purchased it! and it has been parked and covered since August of last year. Did not trust pulling it after it damaged our tow vehicle with (2002 Ford Excursion - Limited) Receiver/tow hitch.

Would not recommend a WW or Giant RV to anyone!

P.S. I could not even start to list the times in for repair / the things repaired! and for how long it was in for!!

Well here is the latest.
Now WW wants the trailer sent back to California. They will not aprove a local frame shop to do the work. So now summer is here we have many weekends already booked and my trailer is possibly heading to california. So I probably wont have a trailer this year. Anyone have any idea on how long these repairs are taking.
