No - not as of yet. I've called Weekend Warrior myself -the Perris, California location and was told that my year and model (2005 - FS30) was not included or covered in this action. I was also informed by the service manager that mine rig was past the 2 yrs warranty - although I purchased an extended warranty (6yr) thru the dealership that sold us our rig (Giant RV - Irvine, Calif) that any and all repairs would not be done thru them? news to me -

Although we've not experienced the major problems mentioned in a lot of the blogs - I did want to get my in for inspection - and also to get the fix/kit that was mentioned in the Class Action paperwork! I was informed that this kit would not be available until August 08 - and again I was not part of this? I was told to make an appt to bring it in - and they would try and get to it in reasonable amount of time - to inspect it. (Basically no help at all)

I've towed this rig - 15 times since new - and have only 5500 miles on it - and DO NOT FEEL SAFE pulling it with ALL the issues I've read about the frame flexing! tire failures and structure failures. I've got a 30K rig - that I can't really use! because I do not feel safe with it! and the conversations that I've had with Weekend Warrior (Perris, Calif) have said their not going to cover any issues that I might have with this trailer - as it's past the 2yr - and again! it's not part of the lawsuit? Has anyone else received this feedback when calling WW?

Did anyone attend the Feb 22nd Fairness Hearing in Santa Ana (Orange County Superior Court). I've not seen anything in the blogs on this hearing.

Has anyone with a FS30 experienced any of problems described in the blogs - If so - can you posted pictures and/or a link on them. I'd also be interested in hearing from other Ford Excursion owners who have towed any of the Weekend Warrior trailers listed in the class action lawsuit - and if they have obtained any damages to their tow vehicles (transmission, rear end, tow hitch and tire failures).

I HAVE A 2008 WW CL 4005 40' 5TH WHEEL. I OWNED A 2006 WW FSC3200 & A 2005 WW FSC2600 ALL WITH THE SMOOTH SIDES. TRAVELON RV IN ALPINE, CA. HAS THIS DEAL IF YOU TRADE IN YOUR TRAILER WITHIN 2 YEARS THEY WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU PAYED FOR IT TOWARDS A NEW ONE. WE HAVE DONE THAT TWICE. WE HAVE HAD REALLY GOOD LUCK WITH ALL 3 TRAILERS. WE HAD SOME TROUBLES WITH THE WATERHEATERS, BUT ONCE WE ELIMINATED THE FUSE OF SORTS WE HAVE HAD NO MORE PROBLEMS. THE NEWEST ONE IS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE TOILET LEAKING & THE PLASTIC SUPPORTS ON THE TAILGATE LATCHES. TRAVELON IS GOING TO HAVE A TECH COME TO MY HOUSE IN
EL CENTRO & FIX IT. WE HAVE BEEN PARKED @ GLAMIS ON BIG WEEKENDS & WEEKEND WARRIOR HAS TECHS GOING OUT ALL DAY & NIGHT MAKING REPAIRS. 12:30 A.M. THEY FIXED THE WATERHEATER ON THE 2005 FSC2600. SO I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT GOOD LUCK WITH MY WEEKEND WARRIORS. I HAVE CHECKED OUT OTHER TOYHAULERS & THERE IS NO COMPARISON WEEKEND WARRIORS ARE FAR SUPERIOR. JUST MY OPINION.[image]

Hey Dune Dummy!
Yeah, you are right about Travelon RV in Alpine. We got a great deal on our FSC3200 and the service tech is top notch. We had some problems with our sink leaking but all it was is that the p-trap was not tight. The other thing was the first night we had it some fuse blew. I replaced them and haven't had a problem since.

See dude, I told you this was a good site. Check out the padlock post. I posted pix of the locks we put on the inside of the ramp.

Hi All,

This is probably not in the best spot to post, but maybe a few of you veterans can help. I am about to close the deal on a 2000 FS2600, that is loaded for what I believe to be a good price. Then come to find out that this lawsuit/problem with this model, among others. Should I still go ahead with the deal or am I just looking for trouble. The TH doesn't seem to have any bend in the frame, that I can tell, and the siding looks ok, a little separation at the front corners then caulked back, but about the same as I have seen on every other 8+ year old trailer. Is/Are these still good trailers, or is this something that I should steer clear from.
I talked to Rapheal at WW, and he said that only 3 cases have been reported, and they were due to people abusing the trailers, but WW is standing behind there entire line. Sounded like a soundbyte to me but, I fifure you guys would know.
Also, if I am understanding the suit correctly, is Perris the primary spot for repairs, and the Sacremento and AZ as alternates?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Brian

It's like I am having Buy Remorse before I buy it.

I've got a 2005 WW FS30 and have had NO MAJOR PROBLEMS with ours - however I've only towed it a total of 15 times since new in Jan of 2005. I've not heard of many cases myself - although I read alot of postings on the internet with few pictures to the stories.

The CHIEF complaint that I have with WW is the incorrect sitcker for the actual weight! which is one of the PRIMARY reasons we purchased a 30' FS30 - The weight shown is 5897 - and went to 7193 with the new sticker I was sent my WW - a difference of 1200 + pounds. Still concerned about what the true DRY weight is! with no cargo, no water or fuel.

Cheers - John

P.S. Of all the TH's out there! WW is one of the best that I've seen.

Mine separated at the front like that from frame bendage and I've seen two others that did the same. I know WW fixed one of them (plus mine)--don't know about the other one. But that makes at least two that I know of that they've fixed and they sure weren't because of misuse. So the person you spoke with was either mistaken or he was full of it.

As far as standing behind their products, I think it's great that they're fixing the damage, but they're really not owning up to the whole price tag. They're servicing you just enough to keep you from strapping on a vest full of pipe bombs and charging through their gate. But I think they fell far short of truly owning up to their mistakes and taking care of all of the damage they caused (at least in my case).

It's all behind me now, but that still doesn't stop me from daydreaming about Larry H. Parker and Ted Kaczynski from time to time.

I know the pics suck, but does this look like the start of it. Or just standard ag/wear/tear. I will be heading down to the dealer monday to get some better pictures. I also need to get ahold of our local WW dealer/service guy and see what they say. Like I said I just dont want to buy something that is going to be causing me and my family problems down the road.
From what I have read so far, it seems like only a small number of frame issues, most of the problems seem to be the tires and weight. I have yet to find any pictures of frames bent.

Thanks

Brian
