2006 2500 Dodge CTD, SWB, stock except for Timbrens.
Full fuel and hitch, otherwise empty
front axle 4320#
drive axle 2860#
With 2008 Montana 3000RK loaded for vacation but empty tanks
front axle 4160#
drive axle 5440#
trailer axles 8700#
Therefore 2420# pin weight, total trailer 11,120# Right??
Yes, I see the pin weight took weight off the front axle. Will take that up with the dealer that installed it but the pin does look directly over the axle.

It's just about time for that [emoticon]. I'll start compiling here soon.
This is great information for new guys and old to see what other rigs weigh.

This is a great subject. I thought it would be nice if everyone would also include their towing fuel mileage. In today world it would be nice to see how the weight and configurations, diesel/ gas play in the towing. thanks ! Duke

OK, good info as I'm new to the 5er arena. One question sticks out in my mind. Is everyone weighing their rigs the same?? Drive on with or without being hooked up or do some unhook to get a true TV & trailer weight??
