We have been sitting in KC KS while Custom Campers builds our new HHII. Being very weight concious, and being a data contributor to their recent in house discussion on uprated GVWRS when 7K axxles and "G" rated tire options are specified, they offered to weigh our coach when it came back from the frame shop with the upgraded Trailair CenterPoint suspension and disc brakes.

Here are our unloaded dry weight numbers. Over 20 custom options drives the UVW upward but the upgrated GVWR compensates for that.

GVWR- 15,500 lbs
Hitch Weight- 2,140 lbs.
UVW- 12,220 lbs
Load Capacity- 3,280 lbs
Net C.C.C- 2616 lbs.

Hope rhis is helpfuk

Am I correct that it would seem that the most often exceeded rating is the GVWR?

It seems likely most stay under both GAWR's and the GCWR.

Truck & 5er in sig. Weighed at CAT scale (2 pass method so I could get pin weight)

Truck weight includes hitch, full fuel (29 gal), and 4 occupants (weight of occupants ~500 lbs)

Trailer weight includes 2 full 30 lb propane tanks and one battery, no fluids in any tanks and otherwise completely empty.

Truck unhitched and loaded as described above: 8260 lbs
Trailer alone: 8420 lbs (GVWR 10,500 which leaves 2080 lbs for water and all the stuff)
Truck weight when hitched: 9580 lbs, under the 10,000 lb GVWR
Pin weight: 1320 lbs (16% of total trailer weight)
Truck and trailer total weight: 16680 lbs - well under the GCWR of 23000 lbs

All axles are under their listed GAWR

I have towed all over Michigan and down to Florida and back and average ~10 to 11 MPG at 65 MPH

Limits:
GVWR/ 11,200
F GAWR/ 4850
R GAWR/ 8250
GCWR/ 20,000

Actual weight with Driver, wife, Adult son with weight added to bed for better ride and drivability in snow..
Steer axel/ 4500
Drive Axel/ 3520
Gross weight/ 8020

So 11,200- 8020 = 3180 is this the pin weight + fifth wheel hitch weight ?
without exceeding R axel weight or GCWR.

GCWR/ 20,000-8020= 11,980
R GAWR/ 8250 - 3520 = 4730

So we have to find a fifth wheel that weights less than 11,980lbs and a pin + hitch weight of less than 3180 lbs or do I have the pin weight wrong ? Seems like we are more likely to go over on the GVWR before R GAWR.

That eliminates all units I have found so far that have cherry wood cabinets. Wow.

Weighed the setup in my signature with 1/2 tank of diesel in the TV, 2/3 tank of fresh water and 1/2 tank of propane - no people in the truck. The generators were in there and we had gear for three of us for 4 nights. I was in a hurry so I only got gross weight of the whole setup and it was 17,600.
