My trailer axle , 12,580# and pin weight 3340#, put weight of my 5er @ 15,920#, (has a GVW of 16,900#)...Didn't have my generator.
Total weight of combo was 25,240#....trucks GCWR is 37,600#.
Anyway, all these weights were taken on CAT scales.

Gotta love that high GCWR the Dodge offers. My 06 F550 is rated at 17950 GVWR and 33K GCWR. Granted mine is 8 years old but she still does the job. I dont have the numbers from the scale on the truck by it self but here are the numbers when hooked to our 5er with no water, no fuel, no toys, no gear or clothes. It had all the odds and ends that stay in there like, bedding, extra Honda gen, pots and pans and some can food.
Front axle - 5240
Rear axle - 7820
5er axles - 12680 (Triple axle)
Grand total- 25740
I want to hit the scales when loaded down for a trip some tiime. Im sure I will be pretty close to my GCWR.....

Thought I would post my weights here. I recently had a blowout and that led me to doing a lot of reading on weights, loads, limits, tires, etc. Here are my results:
1995 F250 with 1 ton axles swapped in. 4X4, extended cab, long bed, diesel, 4 inch lift, 35 inch tires, 5 speed.
Front GAWR 4600 (with stock axle)
Rear GAWR 6084
GVWR 8800
GCWR 14,500/17,000 (3.55/4.10)
2005 Wilderness 305RLDS AX6. 9650 manufacture empty weight.
Below weights are with me in the cab, half tank of fuel, holding tanks empty, loaded with all our other gear.
Empty truck with half tank of fuel
Front axle 4100
Rear axle 3000
Both axles 7100
Trailer and truck:
Truck front axle 4150
Truck rear axle 4800
Truck both axles 9000
Trailer front axle 4350
Trailer rear axle 4350
(Trailer roadside 4300)
(Trailer curbside 4500)
Trailer both axles 9050
Total trailer 10800 (disconnected from truck)
Total weight truck and trailer 18050*
Pin weight 1900*
Looks like the scale had some variance, but its close enough for my purposes. (*) denotes calculated value versus scale value.

Hi guys,
Its very good to read all of your post.As far as my opinion is concern a truck weight include the Total weight of truck + its load. The most important thing is that what capacity of your truck and how its tire rotation and gear system.

Don't quiet understand what you're saying Truck weight plus what it's towing is Gross combined weight. What a lot report in here. Tire rotatation is nice, but doesn't really have anything to do with what one tows, GVWR, GCWR, RAWR or FAWR does matter....though what TIRES you have on the TV also matters...As far as transmissions, I still go by a trucks GVWR, GCWR, RAWR and FAWR...figure the tranny will take care of itself
