[b]I am hoping Richard is at the vet with Old Fella, and that's why he has not posted anything this morning. This is all I can think about this morning.

I can't think of anything else either. Doing stupid testing here at school and I keep thinking about him. Not even allowed to have personal stuff open at school like this but can't stay away. He's just got to pull through! Prayers for Richard and family.....C'mon Old Fella!

This is the first thing I checked this morning. Is there anything a vet can do if dead heartworms clog the arteries? A shot or anything to thin the blood? Hoping and praying for the best....

[b]I am forcing myself to not call Dr. Gradous' office to try and find something out. I know it would not be the appropriate thing to do. Whatever happens, Richard will tell us. I just hope there is some word soon.

It is so hard to be here at work and do anything constructive. I keep checking the thread, hoping Richard will give us good news. Thanks for the update Lynn! I will continue praying. He just has to pull through. He's been through so much - more than any animal should have to endour. Now he has a loving home - he deserves some happiness.

Ok, Folks
I just got off the phone with Michelle from ABC Campground, she had just gotten off the phone with Richard.
Old fella Is at the vet as we speak. They gave him three different types of shots, 1 to calm him down 1 for infection and something else.
Ok just got off the phone with Richard also,
Old Fella is stablized, and at the vets now. Richard goes back to the vet at 2:00pm today his time to check on Old Fella and probably bring him home. The vet said that Old Fella is doing better than Richard is right now[emoticon]
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayer for Old Fella and his Family they are really working.
Love and prayers to everyone.
From Lynn, and Richard and Old Fella.

I can't get anything done at work this morning I'm so distressed! Poor Old Fella. He has just got to get better. We all have so much invested emotionally in this dog and his new family. My prayers are with you Old Fella!

Prayers from Indiana. I haven't checked the thread in a couple days and was made aware as I was reading Walter & Summer banter about the game last night. I hope Old Fella pulls through this. He's been through so much and I really want this dog to have a good life.
