Don't you think this would make a super Disney family movie?!?!?!? I have it pictured like "You've Got Mail," with all the main posters going back and forth through the Forum....mixed with "Because of Winn Dixie."

Old Fellow could star, himself!

I hope we get to see the newspaper article!

Old Fellow is doing well and treatments continue. Some of you have shown interest in contributing towards the vet's bill by credit card so here is the information. But please don't call before Tuesday afternoon as Dr. Gradous has not offically admitted him into their billing records saving me money on the total bill. As of Monday he will be an offical patient at the clinic and at the Kennel.

Dr. Gradous' clinic is as follows;

Springwood Veterinary Clinic
3145 Old Waynesboro Road
Hephzibah, Georgia 30815
Phone: 706 592-0301

Old Fellow is being boarded at

Springwood Kennel & Grooming
3209 Old Waynesboro Road
Hephzibah, Georgia 30815

Phone: 706 592-0444

Old Fellow has a nice air conditioned room all to himself {he has his own pen}with plenty of food and water. Thank you so much for all the encouragement and support. I appreciate each and everyone of you and so does Old fellow.

For those of you who have tuned in late, Old Fellow is at the above vet's address. Please read and if you can please help.

I just received a PM from a generous person who donated $100.00 to the kennel. We are just $90.00 away. What joy I feel right now as this has been a wonderful out pouring of generosity from the people of this forum.

Thanks for a lot of help we have the Old Fellow. He is at the vets as of this post.
And so begins a new life . . . . . [emoticon] When he's ready, the DOTL want him! We can use a few good dogs, wise in the ways of the world and all the danger out there. What's his name . . . Phoenix?

Okay DOTL how do I get him to Missouri?

THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER IS ON LINE! I was wrong about that, sorry. I sent a PM to needsomefun and ask if he would post the address to the forum so all you have to do is click on it and go straight to it. I don't know how to do that.

Anyway the address is--

http://www.thetruecitizen.com

Or you can do a search for Waynesboro True Citizen

REMEMBER THE ARTICLE IS TWO WEEKS AWAY. OLD FELLOW HAS TO BE READY TO ADOPT WHEN THE ARTICLE COMES OUT. THIS IS TO ENCOURAGE SOMEONE TO TAKE HIM HOME.

Dixie Flyer's newspaper

Here's the clickable link but I don't see an article about the dog, maybe you can help me find it.

I took Dixie Dew to the vet yesterday, she had a bladder infection, and the cost ended up $162 for exam, urinalysis and blood work. She was also checking for diabetes. I think Old Fella's vet is probably cutting his cost to minimum. (or my vet is really expensive). So if you can, give a little.

I gave some from my budget and I think I will hit up DH when he gets home from Texas. If you can, donate the cost of a Micky D's lunch. It adds up. Seems like there is going to be a truly happy ending for Old Fella. That makes me happy.

If you will read the previous posts the article will be coming in the next two weeks. Old Fellow is not ready for adoption yet, but when he is then the article will be published. So Two weeks from today the article will be in the news paper with his picture.

OK I will admit there are some on this thread I may have missed...frankly it is getting so long it is a bit overwhelming. I did reply a few times to your efforts for this dog so at one time I was trying to keep up.

I am sorry if something I wrote didn't sit well with you. [emoticon] All I was doing was making the link clickable for you and asking for help finding the article.
