OK I will admit there are some on this thread I may have missed...frankly it is getting so long it is a bit overwhelming.

I am sorry if something I wrote didn't sit well with you. [emoticon] All I was doing was making the link clickable and asking for help finding the article.

Thank you so much. I just made the comment in capitol letters so people would not miss seeing it. Don't think for one minute you have done something that has upset me. I appreciate you and all that you have done. It is people like you that has made so much difference in this effort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks for a lot of help we have the Old Fellow. He is at the vets as of this post.
And so begins a new life . . . . . [emoticon] When he's ready, the DOTL want him! We can use a few good dogs, wise in the ways of the world and all the danger out there. What's his name . . . Phoenix?

Okay DOTL how do I get him to Missouri?

I just mailed a check to the vet clinic for Old Fellow. Not much but hopefully it'll help. My K9s would never forgive me if I didn't help a senior citizen in distress.

I am fine, thanks for explaining your post to me, it felt a little negative. I haven't been online since this morning, I just got back from delivering my Meals on Wheels.

I visited Old Fella today and walked him around the yard. He looks so much better and was responding to me today as he had never before. I planned to bring him home Monday for a day out but was advised against it as the medication for the heart worms is still working and the worms are dying. They are afraid any excitement may cause a heart attack as he is an old dog with the treatment going on. So maybe a week from today I will be able to give him a day out. I am planning on taking pictures Friday with him all cleaned up with his new outfit on {red collar & bandanna} and posting it on the forum.

Thank all of you for your support.

Dixie, Thank you for all you are doing for old Fellow, every time I check out this thread to see how he is doing it brings tears to my eyes at the rough life and treatment he had thru out his years. I am so glad the you and he found each other and that he is responding to treatment so well. Now hopefully we can get enough collected for you to pay the vet bill and boarding bill with out a lot of out of pocket expense on your own.

Lynn and Mickey thank you for all of your support. We will look back on this and have such a good feeling that Old Fellow has found a safe and loving place in this world and will be enjoying his last days as he has never done before.
