vote for Obama, he'll fix all that, LOL. The fuel prices are a joke. The traders do what they want and are not responsible to anyone. If the wind blows the wrong way it goes up immediatly. Then it takes months to come back down.

Here in Az the Phx area gets most of the fuel from Ca. How can it be piped all the way here and sold for $1.00 less than in Ca?? It's not difficult to see who is screwing the public over there.

I have to believe the aux batt option is for a gasser. Never have I seen a diesel of any brand with one batt.

Been towing a 5er for 15 yrs and one alt has been enough. Option may be cheap till you have to replace one on your dime. The only reason I can see is like was said before, running a big inverter for a welder etc.

Youngsters... The first vintage diesel pickups had one battery. Cold weather starting with glow plugs and heater grids is why they went to two batteries.

Thanks for the "Youngsters" comment. I'm 62 so you must be very old. Are the modern pickups better than the team of mules you started with??

Not government they had a major refinery fire in Bay area! Wash and Ore had the same thing in the spring. Gas was about 20 to 30 more than diesel for about a month or two.

That's crazy. Why does CA pay a full $1 more per gallon than FL. The Prez makes oil companies out to be a bad guy for making 20 cents per gallon wile the government makes $1 to $1.50 without any work or risk????????????????????

No one is denying share holders their profits. But they aren't paving or maintaining our roads. The big bad government is paying for the roads we use with fuel taxes we pay. Lots of work and a heck of a lot of risk working on public highways. I'm just glad we're not paying California prices for gas or diesel.

I have a friend that hauls fuel and it's the retailers mostly. He has the invoices with him to be signed and sees the price at the pump as well as the cost.

Then in CA, the roads must be paved with gold.

Yep, I live in CA. The State is totally broke thanks to Liberal Fiscal irresponsibility. You want to try rolling a red light turn these days!... Phewwww you'd better get another mortgage on the house (Oh sorry I forgot, you can't get a mortgage these days!)

PLEASE Arizona.. will you PLEASE PLEASE let me Immigrate to your great State?

There we go.. it's off my chest.. now.... Back to Trucks! [emoticon]

A LEGAL Immigrant to The Great United States.
