As a veteran 18 wheel truck driver, I can say without reservation "EVERY RVer SHOULD WATCH THIS!!!" Some of you may not be aware of a wonderful gadget that you hook up to your duallies that will equalize the pressure of the tires as you are driving down the road and will give you the visual readout of them every time you walk by and look at it. It stays hooked up at all times and you can inflate the inside and outside dual at the same time. This cost is about $55 to $75 per dual, but well worth it in the long run. All major truck stops sell them and they are called 'dual tire equalizers'. They can also be purchased on-line at most major truck accessories web sites. If anyone is interested in more information about them I will be happy to post it. Nina

thank you very much Rodger for sharing that link with us.i have been driving large vehicles for years, including charter buses and that is the first time that i have ever known that the proper way to control a vehicle with a blown tire is to accelerate.in thinking about the dynamics involved tho, that would be the thing to do,just as accelerating slightly in a curve will help to pull you vehicle through that curve.both vidios were very helpful but i may have to order the one on loading and inflation principals and watch it a number of times.that was a lot of information to absorbe in 10 minuits.everyone who drives, especially the heavier class a's and class c's should take the time to watch these videos.thanks again.that is the spirit of these forums,to try to help your fellow RVers in some way and thanks to trailer life for providing this site.

After 48 years of driving I thought I knew how to react if a blowout occurred. Apparently I didn't. Great videos....Should be required viewing for ALL drivers....Thanks, Lynn

Thanks Rodger. The main reason I come to this site is for information gathering that hopefully will ensure a safe RVing season. This trend tops the charts & was well worth the time to watch.

Much Appreciated.

Sent out a request on their web site contact page. Within two days, two videos arrived and a nice catalog listing RV tires and brands to evaluate. [emoticon]

I'm pleased!

I drive a 12 passenger Dodge Ram Wagon Van. I tow the TT with it. These videos are packed full of good stuff! I have Michelin tires on the Dodge minivan.

Thanks Rodger, The 1st thing I learned at "Life on Wheels" was safety is paramount to enjoying rv'ing. I appreciate you sharing this opportunity for continuing education. And a big thanks to Michelin !! I replaced my F-350's Firestone's this winter with Michelin products. Though expensive initially, the peace of mind makes them a great value.
