Thanks Roger. Tire blowout is on of my biggest fears when towing. These videos answered a lot of questions I had. Learned quite abit!

Haven't taken possession of the (my first)new truck (Dodge 3500) yet, can't pick up the TC (Northern Lite) until I get it. Very glad I've been snooping thru these posts for weeks and found yours Rodger. Thanks for the scoop on the videos. I've been telling everyone I know (and like) to watch them. Good stuff...Thanks,

I like the idea of checking tire temps but in some cases wont the inner tire get hotter than the outer (from brake heat)?? what we use to do when racing was take three reading across the face of the tire. if the two outer ones were higher than the center you had low air if the center was higher to much air.just my 2 cents worth.

Well, after almost a year, I just now was this as a sticky. I don't go into each forum and llok at thee headers, maybe should.
Great info.
I always stayed off the brakes and gently corrected. Never thought to hit the gas to control it. Same with sway of course.
