Son of a gun, it does have display on the plenum.
The LED numbers shine via the plenum plastic, so you see no display till it lights.
The plenum has only single button, so for on/off when full adjustment is on remote.
I run mine in the garage, where it cycled a lot.
Here is how it looks on my Sprinter.

Well that is a cool feature!
Do you have a kilowatt meter to get the Amps etc.
I would get one if it does not tax the 2000 too bad.
Bud has an the Polar Cub and the amps and watts are not too bad.
I have a small 5000 btu window unit that pulls 4-5 amps... Honda does well with that in testing.

Good to go. The pigtail black wire separated from the black/hot wire in the AC box. I used new wire nuts, versus the old ones yesterday. It is a tight fit for six solid #12 wires and wire nuts, in that small space. The unit has stranded wire. If I was to do it again, I would use stranded wire for the pigtails. I didn't because the wires from the breaker were solid.
Remote works as advertised. As a previous poster showed, you can control the unit from the panel. The lowest temp for the AC was 60 degrees, and it was colder than that in there this morning, so have to wait until later to check out the cooling capability. Low profile on the roof, and also inside. Being 6'4", I am happy with that. I will post later on the cooling capability. Thank you all for your help.

I would highlight it 1 more time, that those units are low-profile.
I hated the tall AC on my previous campers, what really stands up on my Fleetwood.
Some campers have them even taller.
Besides the looks - they create more air drag and make for overhead clearance issue.

Good job!
I like the looks of that unit, and I’m anxious to hear what it’s power consumption numbers are. I’m going to take a chance and praise the air conditioner on my roof (knock on wood). It works fine, and shows no signs of giving up anytime soon, but you never know. How’s it for noise? Mine could be quieter.
It’s nice that there’s another option besides Dometic.

Read the install specs.. They recommend:
Best installed on a flat roof - less than 5 degrees inclination
Bigfoot's roofs are arced. Not sure of the degrees...
When I replaced the over the bed vent and installed a 24"x24" vent/hatch I had to be creative with the
arc. A real pain in the ass for sure.

AC seem to last.
My 2001 Lance spend most of its life in AZ, when I believe PO used AC a lot, when in 2017 we took the camper on Southern loop, when in 70 days trip the AC had very few hr of not running.
I parted the camper and saved AC for my cargo trailer installation.
Now the RecPro is much quieter than the Lance AC from what I remember, but it might be due the fan blowing less air and then human ears are very lousy gauge.

Following this with interest. The AC on my Bigfoot is something like 14" or 17" tall (can't quite remember). It is to the point of being ridiculous and from a pure aesthetics standpoint is ugly as sin. I have been keeping an eye out for a replacement that was low profile and this looks like it fits the bill. Please keep us updated on your results with the unit over time.
