Well, that’s the thing....I may be naive, but I think the vast majority (99.9%) of the US members of this forum ARE your friends. I think you’ve made it more than clear how you feel about this subject, and we’re with you on it.

I think you’re preaching to the choir here.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to silence you. Just letting you know, friend to friend, that I find the repeated posting of this topic to be.......well, repetitive.

Cheers and good luck.

I find the turn the thread has taken to be of great interest. Disapproval of repetitive postings of more news of people trying to break another countries laws to fulfill their own plans.

I have never seen anyone complain about the number of bad tire, dead generators, bad driving, bad wireless in campgrounds, rude Hosts, rude RV'r's..on and on. Those threads are a constant.

Maybe it's just me.

I disapprove of friends haranguing friends repeatedly about the actions of idiots they have no control over. You do realize that if only .5% (one-half of one percent) of Americans are total nincompoops, that means there are almost 1.75 million idiots in the US.

How likely is it that I’ve just grossly understated the idiot factor in the US?

Do we really need this?

If you’re being honest about never seeing complaints about repeating topics on this forum, you haven’t been paying attention. The repeating topics are indeed constant, but the complaints about repeating topics are frequent, at minimum. But, don’t feel bad if you hadn’t noticed. I don’t read everything posted on here either.

OK, a little twist here but am I smoking something I don't know about and understanding this wrong or does this seem absolutely totally absurd having motor crossing borders closed into the USA, but folks can fly from Canada into the USA.

Except in very unusual circumstances ie; been in Ireland, or other handful countries past 14 days, it even appears Canadians don't need to quarantine when entering the USA, and appear to be able to enter freely by flying. Makes me wonder why Las Vegas is suffering so bad considering how many chomping at the bit that they can't go get their fix on many forums. I'm sure I read somewhere as well that there is at least one insurance company still prepared to cover COVID-19 illness so ...........

If this is the case what the heck is the point in having the driving borders closed going into the USA. Seems a bit stupid to me.

Is this for real? https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/u-s-travel-restrictions-covid-19-land-border-fly-1.5607741

Doesn’t seem any crazier than being able to cross the border by land or water with an Enhanced Drivers License (for years now) but not by air.

Your a confirmed citizen with a machine-readable document either way, but 2 ways are ok, the other not.
