From what I have heard,no tracking for the public per say. Those that work at a distribution point near me(hospital) I know only get a general....your on the list...

Thanks. I can't seem to find anything on distribution, inventory or production other than piecemeal media reports.
Seems like the only 2 candidates approved may take 8 months to 1.2 years to get North Americans (say, 80%) vaccinated. Does this seem realistic?
Now, least developed countries....that is another ball-game entirely (1 to 2 years for 80% vaccination?)....

The vaccines are apportioned to the states and it's up to each state to determine the priority for who gets the vaccine when and how to notify those who are next in line. In Arizona at least the responsibility for distribution has been delegated down to individual counties so there will be even more variation. I've heard that will take at least to the end of the summer before most people can receive the vaccination. Of course if more vaccines get approved that should speed things up.

A new wrinkle for scheduling is the emergence of anaphylactic shock in young otherwise healthy medical workers who had received the 1st inoculation. If a number (unknown) of additional cases across the USA surfaces then the FDA may pause Pfizer's medicine. This would in addition give the FDA a much higher alert sensitivity for Moderna's medication since the two are brothers in origin.
A comment was made about the history of these types of vaccines not having problems going back as far as 1987 for Hepatitis C inoculations. The problem is the number of HEP C applications is about one thousandth of one percent of those jabs cannot be compared to the number of COVID-19 immunizations.
After examining the issues the FDA will issue appropriate guidelines for physicians and healthcare workers to presort all jab applicants.
The only course that makes sense is to encourage additional vendors like Johnson and AstraZeneca to conduct vaccine trials in the USA subject to one influence only and not competitor/legislative influence.

Tachycardia seems to be an all too common effect of an allergic reaction to the Phizer serum. I am not going to wait until the last minute to discuss this with my cardiologist. An excellent source for me is my rheumatologist. He is a secialist with regard to imnunological inappropriate responses with my body.
I will insure I am on the same page as to their recommendations because *that* is my responsibility.
I am moving my guesstimate back even further. To March, to be inoculated. Massive one-shopping trip per month. 90-day stockpile of medicine. I just placed a huge order with my tamale lady of 40 various to be frozen then nuked. The idea is to minimize exposure in markets and other common areas.
EDIT EDIT EDIT
News from England indicates a new strain on virus "able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and race faster than a speeding locomotive".
Keep in mind the newspapers in the 1918 era were saturated with stories of amazing mutations of the Spanish Flu. If the mutation amounts to two cents our Center of Disease Control and the FDA will analyze it and give appropriate guidelines. Local arm twisting includes high numbers of people who claim reluctance to be vaccinated. The people who matter are you and your family.

....seems to be a lot of Internet talk on adverse immune effects from PEGylated drugs (many, many drugs on the market for a loooong time are PEGylated; if you've had a colonoscopy, you've been exposed to it).
PEG conjugates are used in medications because they are considered the least harmful in animal and human. However, this doesn't absolve anyone from doing their due diligence before receiving a vaccine, or, a nanoparticle vaccine.
Here are some interesting papers on the subject of PEG drug delivery:
On nanoparticle vaccinology; turning nucleic acids into vaccines-- understandable to the layman (a lot of research has already gone into battlefield biowarfare, and mRNA vaccines):

POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL in powder form is used as an OSMOTIC LAXATIVE in oral solution. It works by demanding more moisture from the wall of intestines and bowel. It is a very popular aid. But it is not used internally as normal form. Why it was chosen as a component of a vaccine is unknown to me.
Also a mystery is why anaphylactic shock is not uncommon among vaccine recipients but not recorded among stage II or III trial subjects.
Oral Benedryl is not effective against anaphylactic shock. I tried swallowing six tablets and it did absolutely nothing. IV ephedrine is extremely fast and effect9ve. I have no experience with an "Epi Pen".
Let's see how fast the FDA and Pfizer sorts all this out. Remember, MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of doses of the Pfizer vaccine already contain polyethylene glycol. It is up to each Pfizer prospective vaccine recipient to inquire at the immunization site "Do you have necessary means to treat anaphylactic shock?"
Bring a cellphone or book for entertainment. My own incidents occurred about 15 minutes after ingestation of the irritant medication. You may wish to go with a friend. The shock makes the skin redder than a boiled lobster. The words "Shock Victim" will detonate the vaccine team into action.
In my humblest opinion anaphylactic shock (mine was classified as deadly) is miniscule compared to the possible effects of the virus. I will not hesitate one second in getting inoculated.

The difference is 1/2 of 30 K participants that were actually injected with the vaccine in phase 3 double blind trials vs 500+ K estimated to have been vaccinated so far.
Even though these reactions are gaining huge press coverage, they are actually very small numbers. That doesn't make you feel better if you are the one that has an allergic reaction, but these have all been successfully treated with no long term side effects.
I too will line up for a vax as soon as available.
