Thank you sir;
There are also questions regarding the lack of subjects tested in the AZD1222 ½dose experimentation 60 years and older. Personally I am going to guess that AZ has a choice

Go now with full dosage jabs and 62% efficacy
Or conduct a full model stage III test which for the inhibited first jab which will take months to examine and receive approval

No one has seriously challenged the 92% efficacy claimed in the modified first dose protocol. They are demanding more tests with a wider age scope. I prefer a proven animal (monkey) base format as it is a standard proven vaccine protocol.

No one has expressed data that suggests longevity of efficacy at least not publically. Monkey based vaccines have demonstrated satisfactory effects but the man made antigens to me are brand new and therefore unproven in the long term.

Also not publicized is a comparison of intermediate term efficacy with all mutations of the virus. Being old-fashioned I prefer the AZ and it is going to be the one of choice down here. To think that Pfizer has the ability to supply a half billion doses to both the USA and Mexico defies credibility.

Recombinant Vaccines
Vaccine antigens may also be produced by genetic engineering technology. These products are sometimes referred to as recombinant vaccines. Five genetically engineered vaccines are currently available in the United States. Hepatitis B, human papillomavirus (HPV), and influenza (one brand) vaccines are produced by insertion of a segment of the respective viral gene into the gene of a yeast cell or virus. The modified yeast cell or virus produces pure hepatitis B surface antigen, HPV capsid protein, or influenza hemagglutinin when it grows. Live typhoid vaccine (Ty21a) is Salmonella Typhi bacteria that have been genetically modified to not cause illness. Live attenuated influenza vaccine has been engineered to replicate effectively in the mucosa of the nasopharynx but not in the lungs.

The recombinant Hep B vaccine was developed in 1986.

Prospective Pfizer customers that carry an EpiPen for allergic reactions should check with their regular doctor in advance of vaccination.

Wonderful
My housekeeper's daughter who lives with her tested positive. Housekeeper's visit was LAST friday. A week ago. Housekeeper says she shows no symtoms. I show no symptoms. I imagine it will be January before she is safe. She has to test negative before coming. Her salary is pre paid just for this reason. She is not forced to work to survive.

Hi Mex,

I've had 3 "one step" removed exposures. So far, so good.

It is wonderful that you prepay the housekeeper's salary.

She has Hibiclens surgeon's soap at home. I asked her to bring a plastic bag of my washed clothes. I will maintain a twenty-foot distance while she is here for 15 minutes then spray the air with Lysol after she departs. If she tests negative in January and has no symptoms and her daughter tests negative as well she can return. My tier for inoculation down here occurs in Feb.

Johns Hopkins recommended surgeon's soap. Its advantage is its anti-microbial LONGEVITY of 24 hours. If a reader has encountered a longevity factor after using a regular bar of soap or hand gel, please speak up.

Mexico released a preliminary list of ordinal for administration of vaccines. January is devoted to health care provider vaccinations. February to persons 60 and older. There is no mention of preference of vaccines to be used. Pfizer has been approved. But Phizer keeps shunting production and delivery dates.

If delays down here get absurd since I am among the most vulnerable I will travel and get the Pfizer inoculation in the states. 20-40 year olds down here may not get inoculated until 2022. Because of circumstances my personal castle of refuge seems to be surrounded by torches and pitchforks.

My recommendation is to remain aware of your immediate environment. If family members of friends or relatives test positive for COVID19 it's time to increase isolation intensity if you are old and vulnerable.

In Mexico, Baja Norte and Nuevo Leon are red states or high alert. Here in Nuevo Leon there are weekend lockdowns which include closing supermarkets, restuarants, churches, cinemas, outdoor and indoor markets, bars, with public transport reduced.

The majority of Mexican states are in the orange light which pretty much follows the same rules as the red.

Still a long way to go.
