A graph of new cases in Canada. In spite of huge efforts there is as yet no flattening of the curve.

General Announcement:
For a while we were diverting posts from RV Parks, Campgrounds and Attractions because too many threads were focusing on the virus as opposed to the appropriate topics for that forum as described here:
RV Parks, Campgrounds and Attractions
Pick or pass - Post your opinions on campgrounds, parks, resorts, attractions, and places to go.
Considering closing and opening of campgrounds, due to the pandemic, is a legitimate topic we would like you to post that info there. If discussion gets off topic, focused solely on the virus, and/or political we will move them back to ACT.
Thank you.

Here's his latest video where he's reviewing claims made by people that this virus is no big deal.

It's not the heat but the UV light.
"Sunlight will cut the virus's ability to grow in half, so the half-life will be 2.5 minutes, and in the dark it's about 13 to 20 minutes. Sunlight is really good at killing viruses," Nicholls said.
In line with what you wrote, according to a TV news report I saw today, some medical center is using UV light to disinfect their protective gear.

FYI I have a 50 watts (consumed) 380 nM UV chip running at full wattage
It is NOT UVa nor UVb that kills the virus quivkly
It is total saturated doseage of UVc
Chemicals tender the virus harmless light years faster than low doses of UVc
Sorry to burst bubbles

Hi Don. Hope you are staying healthy. Here in BC we are starting to see some encouraging news on the infection rate. It has dropped from 24 to 12 percent. Our minister of health says are target rate is 7 percent. Hopefully by the middle of April we will be on track. We are unfortunately still seeing a couple desths per day, most in the two seniors homes.
Stay safe Don and best of health to you and yours.

And just a shout out to China. In Feb when China was in the darkest days of the pandemic Canada sent 16 tons of supplies to China to help them out.
Today China responded in kind two fold.
“On March 27, Bank of China donates medical supplies (including 30000 medical masks, 10000 sets of protective clothing, 10000 goggles and 50000 pairs of gloves, followed by N95 medical masks) to Canada fighting against COVID-19. We are together!”
Thank you China.

Persons unfamiliar with the N95 mask should know it disturbs fellow shoppers to no end. It fits in well with Alien Invasion flicks.
But in a professional healthcare setting for doctors they are worth their weight in gold.
For my own personal use I have selected a home made linen mask treated with 1000
PPM colloidal silver inside and out.
