"Buy the CBD down there, everything is cheaper south of the border."
Not really. Gasoline, diesel, electricity, electronics, appliances, many groceries are more expensive in Mexico than in the United States.

I think the average price of everything is pretty much the same everywhere now. Gosh can't even begin to say how much I hate inflation... https://www.tillmanstranquils.com/product/600mg-delta-8-gummies/ . A small example: I've been into these gummies for these last few years. I remember when I first started taking them was because my wife insisted. She claimed that these are gluten free and non-GMO etc etc. Anyways, my favorite gummies used to cost only 40$ and now it's like 60$ or something...

I am no expert on traveling with it (working on that,as we are going on a cruise) but Mexico could very well have difficulty with it, even if it is labeled "without THC" if it has a chance of containing it.
Wife and I have booked 3 cruises over next two years. I can tell you neither Royal Caribbean or NCL allow CBD oil or medical cannabis in any form on board. Cruise lines operate under US law, not state/local law. If found in a foreign port, you may have serious problems and that includes Mexico.
