GM Humvee EV at $112,600!

GM is making me feel good for my $50,000 better-performing Cybertruck.

There have been hints of air suspension coming as well but no timetable. I am hoping that it is available by next spring.

I recently sat in a model Y. They sit quite high up, both because of the higher ground clearance as well as the seats are elevated off the floor what seemed like 4 inches or more. (Hence the higher roof line). Getting in and out is a LOT different than our model 3. Inside it’s just like the 3 though. This one had the tow package with the stealth hitch. Same one that goes on the 3. Nice, although no possibility of hitch height adjustment. What you get is what you get.

Each unit requires a $20,000 deposit, so the initial investment appears to be at least $2.6 million.

They also seem to have a half dozen J1772 chargers for the residents and they are free. Kinda cool. Still, half a dozen chargers for 170 apts might be a stretch in about 10 years. EV growth is quick up here, or at least in this province.
This would be quite an incentive to get free fuel with the rental. Could really change the economics of renting.

Yah I suppose. We see two bolts in the parking lot and what we think is a visiting model occasionally using them. I’m not sure how the management is able to determine if they are renters are not...or maybe they don’t care. We put them on plugshare as they seem open to the public. Not sure if that was a good idea as it was taken down soon after. Hind sight says it probably was a dumb move on my part. Technically they should probably be put on under the home charger Tab. Right now they are under utilized. That will probably change in the future.

Cheers.

Despite it's dizzyingly lofty stock price, my brother, a software engineer in Canada is still a believer -- not for the car but for Tesla's hefty globally accumulated data. But he said he also ordered their Cybertruck.
