You will also find a few of these screws under the trim, so they also need to be removed, before the fiberglass can be taken off.

Also, in order to remove the steel framing, there is a screw that goes through the wall steel into the steel that is a part of the dash.

The red arrow points to where this is, and it is under the front cap, somewhat.

And there it is. You may have to cut a small v slot in the front cap, in order to remove the screw. It is about 2 1/2" long.

I forgot to mention this in the last post.

This is a pop rivet that was not yet cut off. You can see, how far it sticks out, and when you try to remove fiberglass, with the front cap over top of the fiberglass, it is necessary to pull the cap out pretty far to get past it.

This shows why it's a good thing to cut them off, unless it's in an area that you can pull the fiberglass straight out, with nothing overlapping it.

Then again, there is nothing like driving "the Cadillac" of rv's, is there?

After pulling the fiberglass off the front corner, I was greeted with this.

The yellow circle, indicates a piece of plywood, as does the red circle.

The plywood on the right fell off.

This side is slightly different than the passenger side. You will notice that this has 2 steel vertical supports, (one yellow arrow, one red arrow), whereas the other side only has one.

The red arrow steel is the one that is for the drivers door frame.

The one in front of it, (with the yellow arrow), is the normal support like the opposite side.

You can also see the carpet showing through around the red circle, as the thin paneling on the inside has disintegrated.

And here we can see 4 screws sticking through from the inside, which were originally screwed into plywood inside the wall. As you can see they are a little "rusty".

This close up shows the ends of the screws that have rusted away.

If I had broken them off, by pulling the plywood off, there would be a shiny area at the end of the screw. There isn't, so I know I didn't do this.
