Hang one of those gold bricks I saw in the background of one of your pictures on it. Those are pretty heavy.

If only there were gold bricks. If there were, I don't think I would be doing this restoration.....

If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

And here we have the holes through the outside of the dash, that were holding the frame on.

Wait, What? The door just popped off and you weren't ready? Is the door OK?

Here we can see some of the screw holes, (red circles) where the screws were that held the aluminum frame on. They are only accessible when the door itself is open.

The blue circles were from the screws that held the drip cap on, over top of the door.

If you notice, in the upper left corner, there are 2 blue circles, but not screws. Ah, yes. they are hidden beneath the trim, that yes, that trim that is Pop Riveted on.

So, in order to get to those 2 screws, that piece of trim has to come off.

There we go with the trim off. If you look close, you can see the screw holes around the opening.

The vast majority of those screws snapped off, when I hit them with the impact driver.

I must admit, there have been a few times, where I did think, that maybe I had indeed lost my mind.

However, eventually, things have to start going back together to the point, that it actually looks like I am getting something done.
