None. But, I'm not talking about the danger of wearing one while welding, I'm talking about the fact it's so tight it's beginning to deform your finger. If it gets to a point where it's cutting off the blood flow, it's not good.

But, you're an adult, you can make that decision yourself. My comment was more of a 'tease' than a demand. I never wore a wedding ring myself because of the possibility of losing a finger since I worked around high voltage and electrical equipment all the time.

Not to worry, I didn't take it as a demand.

I was assuming, you were talking about welding yet.

My mistake.

If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

So, now, what is the answer to the question, "how much weight will this paper towel hold"?

First test......

Weight is 9.4 oz

And now we hang it high........

Second test - 15.75 oz of water -

And hang this one high as well....

As you can see, the grommet at the bottom, is not looking great, but it is still holding.

Third test ....

We now have 21.95 oz

And here are our results..........

So, less than 21.95 oz tears the paper towel.

Back to working on the motor home.

I went to the drivers side, and started to remove screws so I could remove the drivers door.

There are screws all around the aluminum frame, which are not accessible until you open the door.

Then there are some, that are shown here, which are available from the outside, when the door is shut.

Every single one of the 6 pictured above, are right here, in my hand.

That is, what is left of them. Every single one snapped off.

As you can see in the pic, the screws have rusted to the point, that not much of the screw shaft was left, and as soon as I started the impact driver, they snapped.

Not on these 6 screws, but on others, that went through the aluminum frame, I killed another phillips head screw driver bit.

Good thing I got extras.

This is the front of the drivers door, where the hinge is.

The hinge is shown at the end of the blue arrow.

NOTICE - DO NOT REMOVE THESE SCREWS - (highlighted in red circles) - when you are removing the door.

As you can see, I did, and I will show you why not to remove them.

These next 2 pics are the back side of the aluminum framing.

This shows the door closed, as it would be in the coach.

Notice that there are just nuts on the back side of the aluminum. Those screws do not extend into the steel framing, but have nuts to help support the door. If you attempt to remove the screws, these nuts will fall out the bottom.

It's not catastrophic, but none of these screws need to be loosened. It has nothing to do with removing the door.
