ENTER - the new kid on the block! Yay!!! Lol.
This is a string light of led's. In this pic, I dimmed them to the point where it is pulling 0.46 amps, and 3.8 watts. That means we are using about the same amount of energy, but these are providing more light than the other 2 combined.
The light seems to spread nicely, and these string lights have an adhesive strip on the back side.

Then, I cranked the power up to full, which increases the voltage, amperage, and watts from - 8.33 volts, 0.46 amps, and 3.8 watts TO --- 13.15 volts, 1.19 amps, and 15.6 watts.
Hopefully, this will show in the pictures, but this is quite a bit brighter when at full voltage.
More on this tomorrow. These string lights can be ganged together - they are made with connectors on both ends, so it's just a matter of plugging them in together, with some interesting results.
Not sure the pictures do the actual light justice, but there is a pretty big difference.

Thanks for the info, pic, and part num.
I would not have thought Newmar would have sold anything with such a low price tag. Wrong again. Lol.
Some things from them are very reasonable... for example, the caps for the roof vent pipes are $1.53, and that includes shipping ! I broke one and ordered 3 at that price. So I have a couple spares. I imagine the price on the latch includes shipping too as that is generally how they list their item's prices.

I replaced all lights in my MH with LEDs. Each single fixture has 48 LEDs in a square pattern and glued to inside of fixture. The double fixtures have 96 LEDs. I paid $1.60 each for them. All are clear daylight and give great light.

No doubt about it - I also like led's with a daylight type light much better than the standard 1141's.

I wanted to check out a set of strip led's, to light up the counters for cooking and preparing food, etc.
Here's what I found on Amazon.
These have a string of 42 lights end to end, but they are a double set, so they have a total of 84 per strip.

Here is a larger picture, and every set of 3, (6 lights total), the strip can be cut. Included are a bunch of extra ends that can be soldered to the cut strip if needed.
Both ends come with a connection, so they can be plugged together if you want more than a single string in length.

As usual, I could not leave well enough alone, so I pulled out one of my multimeters and started checking voltage.
The one on the left is incoming voltage, how many amps being used, as well as watts in the lower left corner.
The multimeter on the right, is the voltage at the outgoing end of the string of lights.

After adding a second string in line, moving the meter to the end of the second string, you can see the voltage drops from 11.75 for one string, to 10.31 at the end of the second string.
The amperage used goes from 1.20 to 1.65. Watts changes from 15.7 to 21.6.

Adding the 3rd strip inline, increases the amperage to 1.80 and watts to 23.5.
The outgoing voltage at the end of the 3rd string is now down to 9.35 volts.

Adding another string to make it 4 strips, and we now have 1.85 amps, with 24.2 watts, and outgoing voltage of 8.76.
