I like those latches. They are also in our Newmar and never had one to open in motion.

They are not a Newmar exclusive, I have seen them in the big box stores in the past.

1/2" diameter x 2 inch long lag bolt? Lol. Yea, not happening.
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

Thanks for the info, pic, and part num.
I would not have thought Newmar would have sold anything with such a low price tag. Wrong again. Lol.

As you know, I have been checking out some led lights for the interior, and where to place them.
Tonight, we'll have a little fun with led's.
Here is one of the round led's I have that replaces a standard 1141 bulb. This bulb has led's in a completely circular fashion, as well as a few on the one end.
Here you can see how the light is distributed. It's using 3 watts, or 0.23 amps.

This is the square led that I just received last week. I would say, comparatively, it produces a little more light than the round one I have, BUT, if you look at the upper part of the picture, it is a little more directional than the round one.
The upper portions of the walls, are not lit up quite as well, but then again, I do not have a cover on either of these lights. The fixture is a standard double 1141 bulb holder.
This one pulls 3.3 watts, or 0.25 amps. If you compare these 2 pictures, you can see the difference.

Next, I turned both of these on at the same time, which seems to work pretty well.
With both on, we are pulling 6.0 watts, or 0.46 amps. As you can see, this is lit up pretty well.
