I would be curious to see what the time would be for a 2016 f350 with the 4:30 gears is vs the 2017 with 4:10. Does it make up the few seconds the ford lagged behind?

BTW...my truck might be worse, but its still mine and ill keep it no matter how much slower.

Exactly. 15 seconds slower in optimal conditions with no traffic. That is essentially a dead heat to me. Pick the one you like and smile all the way to the campground!

I did watch this and must say im still not super crazy about the 2017 ford, maybe it will grow on me in 5 or 6 years. The ram they had is identical to the one I drove before buying my truck, it was a very nice truck and really came down to money. I didn't think it was any better or worse, but I didn't carry a stop watch with me for the test drive.

Exactly as I predicted! They dumbed down the test for the GM and it's low 23K towing.

As usual Ford has hyped their numbers and looks like GM is rating theirs much differently than last year.

Things will be VERY interesting in 2019!

Any reason for this post, other than to bait someone into an argument?

And you don't consider yourself a troll...lol

Interesting results. 22 - 23k 5ver is about the most any of these Duallys can tow and stay under the GVWR and RGAWR. Most don't tow anywhere near that heavy so pick your brand and enjoy the ride.
