To say Toyota is more American than Ford or GM is incorrect. There are a couple Toyota models in the top 10 but GM is the clear winner in that regard.
Take a look. You'll be surprised at the results.

This is a really neat website. Thank you!
Was definitely surprised on more than a couple!
Surprised the GM 2500's aren't in the list. Their 1500's were a lot less "American" than I would have thought.

Interesting picture. You have always stated the Aisin is "Made in the USA" and it was tagged with that label stating that. Seems that is not the case.
FTC has a whole bunch of rules which allows manufacturers to state a product is made in the USA. It's obvious that the majority of the parts of the aisin are foreign and that would be why they state manufactured NOT made.
"Manufactured" and "Made" are not the same in the eyes of the FTC. Read up on it sometime.
YES, I should have said Manufactured In USA. Don't think I was trying to hide anything since the picture I POSTED clearly states it's MANUFACTURED here.
I sure do understand the difference.

I remember being concerned when I purchased my first HONDA that was assembled in the USA. It did have a Delco Battery!!!

We get it... Just like your cummins engine block is casted in Mexico.
Having said that it's very important to purchase from an American company and that I can say I'm very proud of.
Well, when a company (and it doesn't matter where they are located) hoses me like I got hosed on my 6.0L resale, let's just say I'm going to look at my options moving forward rather than blindly continue to give my hard earned money to that company.

After watching the video a couple times I have not been able to determine how many times the ford required a brake application on the down hill. It was 2 or more.
The Ram required 3.
The Chevy one.
They did mention they were not letting the electronics handle the braking.
But had they set the cruise control on at 50 coming out of the tunnel with the Chevy I am almost sure they would never have had to apply brakes.
Without cruise control turned on with the Chevy you have to apply brakes once to get the grade braking to activate.
They glossed over the point rating by giving all three trucks 25 points for braking. Where did that come from?
Braking is probably more important than time to climb the hill when towing heavy.

Looking at the signatures of almost every post in this thread, two things come to mind:
1. Nobody commenting here (from what I can tell) owns one of these 2017 trucks.
2. Nobody commenting here builds one of these 2017 trucks.
So why would anyone feel inadequate or superior in these results?

I was thinking the same thing. In addition:
1. Very few here live in the area where they will be towing I70 on a regular basis (I'd actually guess that most have never towed it).
2. Even the slowest tested would outrun the truck owned by those making a big deal a the delta of times.

That's an interesting website. I noticed they didn't list Ford's Super Duty. Maybe they missed it or maybe somehow they rolled them under the Ford F-150 numbers like how Ford counts sales under the F Series brand. That would match how they listed Chevy and GMC trucks under Silverado and Sierra. However, they did break out Ram's 1500 vs. 2500. No mention of the 3500. Thanks for sharing.
