No they don t but the pace car has a plow so no problem at all.

Let's look at this for the schedule team. They seem to need some help. CA, VA, TX, VA/TN.
Doesn't make sense to me. Richmond used to be very early in the year as well.
I remember 5 of us sitting in the car with the heater on watching it snow at Richmond on race day.

Do the Cup cars have snow tires available?

They plowed the snow but the race is postponed until tomorrow since there are piles of it all over the place.

Yes. The truck race is on FS1 right now, the Cup race scheduled to run at 2pm.

Amusing, the jet engine track dryer lost favor to the Air Titan, but they were using the jet dryers to melt snow on the track to get rid of what couldn't be plowed. Seems clearing the grandstands was the bigger issue, but there was no shortage of sun yesterday, and the temp. rose to a blistering low 40's. [emoticon]

The AirTitan creates a squeegee of high pressure air to push the water down the track. Most of the time that is superior to trying to heat up the track surface to evaporate the water.

Once the snow was melted, the AirTitan could be used.

Congrats to Bowyer on the win.

Let the party begin.

6 races, four trophies in the Stewart Haas trophy case. And I thought Ford was at a technological disadvantage with the old Fusion...........

If it couldn't be Blaney I'm glad it was Boyer. Good for him.
Penske is strong also, the Fords sure found something.
I was surprised it went green that long.
Evidently Harvick doesn't think he needs a dump station. He needs to get over himself. It's a team thing.

Just turned the race on and looked at how empty those stands are wow!!!! Just thought maybe it's due to the weather but don't think so

If at first you don't succeed--don't try sky diving!!
I'd rather be camping

That's a good crowd,...certainly good enough that thanks to the great management at corporate NASCAR I have no worries that it'll be a great season, and a finish in the red is assured.
