Crowd, what crowd?? As usual a spin on the crowd as myself and many others wonder where the crowd is. Yes, the weather isn't favorable but most tickets are sold in advance. The troubling problem is if Eddie Gossage can't put butts in seats, Katie bar the doors!

I will have to agree with you Willie, that with most crowds being as lite as that one, a finish in the Red will be assured

Things like what happened today also turns people off. An obvious violation of pit road rules (actually 2 rules) gets ignored with fist bumps and high fives between officials and team members and co-signed by the TV commentators. All of a sudden Waltrip and Gordon forgot the rules they stated earlier in the day. I think decisions like this have a lot to do with the steady drop in NASCAR fans in the last two decades. Kyle Busch got the last laugh though, because even stacking the deck against him today, he came away with the win. lol

Well...there was one on Fox but Fox being Fox and NASCAR being what they are.... LOL Fox's "crank it up" got more attention in my hose with shouts of mute the damz thing.

Crowds..were what they are and they weren't much. JMO but NASCAR could drop TMS from a race perspective. I know most race groups (several bus loads) around here didn't buy season tickets to TMS races this year.

I wonder how busy all of those suites overlooking the track were. The
weather sucked all weekend, I'd have stayed home too if I had to sit outside in it.
It will interesting to see how fast the aero rules get changed. Again.

Exactly why is it that we like to spread the word about the low attendance, PLUS how much NASCAR racing produces non-racing shows?
In a former life, I tried to explain it, over and over, that there is no solution to this problem, and to just leave it alone and allow NASCAR to die a slow death. IMO the best clue of imminent death will be when the owners of NASCAR see an offer that they can't refuse. IMO it's not going to happen anytime soon. And, this means Kyle Busch might have a chance of winning another championship. Therefore, I will remain a big fan of NASCAR,,, [emoticon]

Oh I read these, it's much more interesting than watching the race, I just happened to turn it on yesterday didn't stay long since they were stopping the race for a segment pause which I feel that is utterly stupid but I don't make the rules I just control the channel changer which I did.
