Topic: Nascar Follies

Last year was a magic year for Front Row and Martin Truex.

This year Harvick and his team seem to possibly on the same path. But we are just 4 races into a 36 race season. Anything can happen.

The one thing we know for certain is that a team with an advantage will soon be caught by the other teams, or shoot themselves in the foot.

I'm sure Anhauser-Busch will do more with the pole award than Coors had been, but then some of the responsibility lies with FRANCCAR. Now Lowes will be leaving Jimmy Johnson and Hendrick after 2018. Of course Lowes had a lot of piggy backing sponsorship with some of their suppliers for several years and that will be hard to replace. Jimmy should do what Jeff did, finalize the Lazy-Boy tour and even more so the way finishes have been going.

Announced today, Lowe’s to stop sponsorship of NASCAR and Hendricks after this season. WOW! But I guess I can’t be too surprised.

Not a Jimmie Johnson fan by any stretch, but if anyone thinks they're history, you'll be sadly mistaken.

The Hendrick teams have a history of being slow to adapt to the changes of the last several years but don't count Mr. Knauss out just yet.
The new Camry struggled at first last year, as the new Chevy is this year. Will the Camaro come on like the Camry did? Film at 11.
The surprise to me is the Fords to this point.
I'll watch no matter what, even if it's on the DVR later.

We're a dying breed. Just look a what happened to the auto industry (the one that produced the racing generations). Just look at what our teenagers are doing. "Let them be lawyers and doctors and such") Nobody is going to put up the money to build a short track (local racing). I did it because I wanted to prove something, AND happened to have some money to do it, AND had the know-how to build, and operate, it myself.
THANK YOU NASCAR, keep going as long as you can.

I'll bet a beverage that she gets booed if she shows up. Her views of the world tend to differ from most of the Nascar audience. She is one nasty human being. My opinion only.
