I just checked online and there are no seats available in my section... there are seats available in several other sections.. not sure if they have blocked 'em out knowing they wont sell or not..

I did buy my 500 tix not more than a month ago. I moved from the tri oval down to turn 1... i like the view from there but am worried about exiting in a timely fashion...

Sure hope these last several races are not indicative of how the seasons going to go. I picked Kyle Larson as my driver for this season.
My wife picked Chase Elliot..... could be a long season for me. [emoticon]

Blaney fan.

I thought last night the first duel was great.

Though it would have been awesome to have the three Penske cars lined up on the inside for the start.

You can buy all of the tickets you want out in front of Hooters and most of the way down 92 towards A1A. We do it every year as the weather is unpredictable 6 months out. We've scraped ice from the windshield in Kissimmee on the way to the race and gotten sunburned in blazing 80 degree sunshine other (and this) years.
That $199 deal I wrote of the other day was not so good upon closer inspection. The seat were all in the lowest sections.
I set the DVR at home for 2 hours past the anticipated end time as a precaution against massive wrecks. I probably won't watch it when we get home but at least I'll have it if I want to. The worst place to watch a race is AT the race when the track is as big as Daytona is. But the event in it's totality more than makes up for that.

Reddick beats Sadler by .000 in the Xfinity. Can you get any closer?

The Daytona 500 spectacle. Every entry will be very fast, but only a few contenders will survive to be there at the end and have a chance to get lucky enough to be declared the winner. The odds favor my man, the one and only KYLE

Dunno, a dart throw as always. Fords had speed in the Duels, Camaros looked fast when the drivers could keep the car under them.Toyotas don't look as stout speed wise as last season. We shall see.....

The big problem in my opinion is the current configuration of the track and the stages keep all the cars on the same lap. Toward the end of the races people who have never won are close enough to the front to be willing to take a chance that they wouldn’t on a smaller track.

And today’s cars are so safe, the drivers don’t worry about an injury if they wreak. So checker or wrecker is what they choose.

I’m not advocating make the cars less safe. I’ve help pull the body of a dead racer out of his crushed car. Never want to see anyone hurt.

Hope it will be a long relatively boring race.
