Nah Cloud, the 'end times' were supposed to arrive Sept. 21st.[emoticon] But NASCAR, she's a wheezin' and a sputterin'. Even Dale Jr. is grousing about the 'doctored' track surface in Charlotte after what happened in the first practice yesterday, and wondered what the point of it was for a daytime race in which the outside groove has always rubbered up and come in for daytime racing.

From a tv viewer perspective....I'm a 75 year old long time fan of NASCAR limited to watching on TV.
The last three races I turned them on and made the start however after 20-30 laps of looking at a in car camera/engine noise for lap after lap or a track side camera where nothing but engine noise and cars going by at a blur....... krank it up krap......non stop blabber from the booth about whatever being repeated repeatedly..... or track side reporters screaming 1/2 lb air pressures......or driver/crew chief audio that sounds like a cheap CB radio that isn't understandable....I tuned them off and read a book.

Its not just NASCAR messing with its roots but NBCsports is even worse than FOXSports at showing a race car event which I didn't think was possible.

Oh well....guess I'll try again at 1 o'clock this afternoon to watch what used to be my favorite show of the week.

Thought I was the only one that couldn’t understand the driver/crew chief gibberish. Never figured out why they didn’t interpret it for us.

Poor Kylie. Leaving parts all over the track. [emoticon]

OMG,I did finally see the green flag at Charlotte. Empty stands and the high buck RV sites with many empty. They screwed up the track surface and now screwing with chicanes for Charlotte next year. They have so much on their plate it's unreal how this continues to unravel.

What happened to my guy Kyle Busch. I come back to watch him add to an exciting end,....and he is multi laps down.
Congratulations to Marten Truex and his crewchief. They're the class of the field.

Kylie got mad at the wall and tried to destroy it, numerous times.

Saw just the start then watched football. That crowd (lack of) in the cradle of NASCAR was an absolute shock. Someone check for a pulse......

It's been that way for quite awhile. The All-star race has been a graveyard for 2-3 years now. It's embarrassing for the sport.

Yep, doomsday is coming. BUT, I have a plan. I'm going to keep supporting it as it limps along to its final destination. Selfishly, I imagine that I will die before it does.

Hey Kyle Busch, Talladega's wall is softer!
