Watched Reader's Digest version on FS1 this afternoon. Kyle Busch is a master of the restart. But I was more impressed with the other Kyle running down and taking JJ for second place. That kid was driving the wheels off his car.

I noticed the drink also. Google says
NOS is manufactured by the High Performance Beverage Company. This is owned by Fuze Beverages LLC, which has now been purchased by Coca-cola. However, recently Coke gave Monster Energy the rights to this brand as part of a stock deal between the two corporations.

I'm waiting on the hypertension epidemic in young people brought on by the caffeine content of these 'energy drinks'. Maybe that's why Kyle has that bug eyed look.

You know Thomas it reminds me of just throwing parts at something trying to fix it. They just played with the big souvenir tent, have all kinds of fluff for the week at Charlotte as very few folks stay the week at Charlotte anymore, change race dates, etc. There product is suppose to be a racing sanctioning outfit to produce racing. Well as usual they just dance around what needs to be fixed, RACING. I don't need an experience, I need racing! I wonder how long Chicagoland can hold on as just a regular race?

In the meantime, I'm going to celebrate being alive. And, it makes me smile that NASCAR is doing the same.
Easy for me to say, my man won in both categories. Made it look easy.

I know one group that won't like the Daytona 500 going back to the original week. It's the group that owned time shares for that week and dumped them at a loss when the week changed some years back. Hopefully they didn't buy new weeks at a premium that they now don't know what to do with.
If bike week moves back also they may come out all right.
I never did understand why they moved away from a holiday weekend to begin with. At the time there was reference to a deal with the NFL but who knows.
And yes, Kyle is the man on restarts. Joe was sure happy, the other Kyle not so much.

Ole "Jaws" did an interview that was in the Charlotte Observer the other day that was great on ideas on how to try to fix things. If he would offer things like this on the Fox broadcasts, instead of always taking the vanilla side and act like he is afraid of loosing his press pass and getting his wrist slapped by FRANCECAR, he could say "biggity" as many times as he wanted and I wouldn't even mutter under my breath.
