Topic: Ordered Host Mammoth

Talking with other Host owners, filling the 60+ gallon fresh tank helps the CG. Otherwise, many report the CG 6-12" behind the axle with batteries and propane yet empty fresh.

If you do not plan on towing anything with tongue weight, the Class 3 truck should be enough. Once you add a heavy trailer to this combination, you are looking at being at the limits of a Class 4 and should really consider a Class 5 if you don't already have the Class 4.

Right now the only plan is to flat tow a 2 door wrangler. Of course I have to buy one first. I would love to buy a RAM 5500 and put a utility bed on it for the camper but I still tow a 5th wheel. Also not sure if my wife would like the looks of a rig like that. I would love it though.

I just hung up with the factory. It is shipping monday to my dealer. Then I have to make a trip down there to pick it up. They are 8 hours south of me. I can't wait.

Very exciting! We drew a crowd just getting groceries 10 minutes away from Host in Bend. Be prepared for an audience!

I should remember most of this stuff. I am taking the AF1150 down to trade it in. We already worked the deal for it, I was very happy. I am hoping for a few days to run around with it down there before coming back north.

On the east coast, there are Host dealers in NC, NY and NH that I know.
