On the road with my continuing adventures.

Stopping at one of my favorite friend’s pastures, along US 395, in the Eastern Sierra’s of California. It is always fun to have the neighbors come over, for an impromptu dinner.

Nice neighbor, Bryan! Looks like the relative of a horse I helped rescue a couple weeks ago. What were you cooking that attracted his attention ... bran muffins? corn cakes? oat meal?

Here's the view from my TC window this morning. Just got rid of all the ice/sleet/snow from a couple weeks ago. Good riddance ... no fun with that mess. Now we've got about 4" of fresh snow. But it's snow with only a little sleet underneath and I'm getting out the toboggan! Temperatures will be back above freezing tomorrow so gotta enjoy it while I can.

I spent a month in Death Valley and one day in Las Vegas, as I grabbed supplies and parts and headed north to the desert and solitude. But the night sky of Las Vegas was too tempting outside of my Lance Camper’s Dinette window. Especially with the frame of the desert dunes around my boondocking location. So I set up my tripod to see if I could catch something through the TC window. With the tinted windows and my PL filter on, I was able to wash out the glare of all the bright lights of the skyline, over 10 miles away.

Thanks Phyllis, the distance has become more and more important to me, as time goes on.

Plus the contortions of making my long lens and tripod work inside a truck camera would have left you laughing too.

Get buys too, lady. You have some more you need to get posted here. December will be here before you know it!
