Loyd here...wanted to let you all know that Truman and I had a great time during our rally in Dayton, Or. We have been on the road traveling around the great Pacific Northwest and finally have to get back to work. I have finished a 3 minute video of our rally while in Dayton (amateurish at best but it works) here is the link.

I have received bad news today that I have kidney cancer, has been a little emotional around the house but I believe this to be survivable with the help of a surgeon. I will keep you posted on the progress. Please enjoy the video and will see you all soon.

Jeanne says hi.She said that she saw you at the bank yesterday.
Hopew that everything goes ok.
Was at Virginia Mason for a pre-op session and they reeled off a list of all the things they're going to do up in my sinus cavity. It really sounded like they were gonna be in there all day,but basically they're gonna go up my nose and take the growth out and then ream it all out down to the bone as she says that it could be a cancer and they want to get it all the first try. If it's not a cancer, then the durn thing can't grow back like it has done. Not looking forward to it at all.
Oh well, the next week we're heading for Point Hudson for a week with the oldest GD,who lives in Oceanside,Ca.

At the rate this group is going, we'll need to have a stand by medical unit at the next rally! Better add that to your list, DavidG! Laura's "adventure" was so scary to read--thank God she came out of it OK!

That's pretty far out planning at this time for us, but I'm hoping that if we're reading this event here its a public event for all. We're not sure about using our RV that early in the season and of course getting there from western WA with weather and road conditions.
