Hi there SteveMarla, Yes, anyone is welcome to attend. We're just a bunch of folks from the forum, and an occasional friend or two that has a RV. As for the weather and road conditions getting over the mountains, we have had several rallies on the east side and never had a problem getting there from the west side. Come join us. We'd love to meet you! 2003 Suburban K2500LT 4WD, 8.1L, 3.73 2008 Adirondack 31RK-DSL Our blog ![]() |

StevenMarla - not sure that even Jeff Renier or Steve Pool would be willing to attempt to make a weather forecast that far out in the future!! ![]() Put it on your calendar and come on over. Great bunch of people and always lots of food and tall travel tales to share. That's how we got introduced to the group when we first got our motor home and took in our first rally with them in 2005. Well we finally got the calendar out tonight and looked at dates and we see no reason we cannot route our way from Arizona to come thru Prosser for the rally and still make dates we need to make in Washington. I will do my best to call tomorrow and make that reservation. Got good news today from the PT lady and I am two months ahead of schedule for my shoulder surgery and they are going to stop the PT and I will finish on my own. NICE The bad news is our son fell off the roof and landed on the back of his head and neck and has to have surgery this week. Came within 6mm on being in a wheel chair or worse. Mom has gone from taking care of me to him... Bob National Tradewinds with Nissan 4x4 Ext Cab/Honda CRV Toad It's the Journey not the Destination RVing since 1970 ![]() |

Bob, and Sue, sometimes it seems if it weren't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all! Sorry to hear about your son. Hope all is well quickly. We're all doing fine here. Went to Deception Pass with the family last week, and had a good time. We were clearly the biggest rig in the park, although there was a fifth wheel that must have been close to our size. Tradewinds, Glad to hear you are doing better and that you can hopefully make it to the rally. I hope your son ends up okay. StevenMarla wrote: ![]() Thank you Any ideas on the weather forecast? If you're talking next year, not really, but in past years when we have gone over to the east side, it's been pretty nice. Warm, but not hot. One year over in Clarkston we had a nasty thunderstorm roll through the area. Poured down rain for about 15 minutes, then it was gone. |

John,Nikki, are you going to bring that big rig of yours back down to Yuma and go out jeeping with us again. You guys made it thru some hard spots last year, you did really well. I can imagine your rig being the biggest in the park, that is one big puppy. Ron, would you send the info on who put the new decal's on your rig. The heat in Arizona is eating mine alive and I have to either have new graphics made or I have to have a paint shop paint on new ones. |

Bob - glad to hear that your shoulder is doing well. Hope your son recovers fast. Is he the one that was over on the east side? I am still procrastinating about the stripping/decals. I really don't want to go back to decals and trying to figure out if I want the expense of having them painted on!! Maybe I should just see if Winnebago has the decals and get someone to put them on. Let me know what you find out. |

Bob, to answer you question, we plan to leave here on January 20th. With a couple days at the Country Coach factory in Junction City, plan to get to Yuma on about Monday the 27th or possibly the 28th, depending on when we get done in Junction City, and what weather we have to deal with going over the Siskiyous. We have reservations in Apache Junction on that Saturday, February 1st, so we have five or six days in Yuma. Unless you have a spot on your site at the time, we'll probably plan on spending the time at Yuma Lakes again. |
